Mike Oldfield-Tubular Bells (Digitally Remastered)-2009-ONe
Tubular Bells from Mike Oldfield are one of the most famous albums ever and this new, digitally remastered edition released by scene group ONe gives you an exclusive chance to listen these amazing tunes again in even better quality.
The opening bars of this classic album by Mike Oldfield were heard by audiences that packed theaters to witness one of the scariest films of all time–The Exorcist. And it wasn’t long before this debut release, not only from Oldfield but also from Richard Branson’s new record label, Virgin, found itself in the upper echelons of pop charts around the world. Primarily an instrumental album, with performances on almost every instrument credited to Oldfield, it takes the listener into widely varying musical territories, ending as Viv Stanshall formally announces each instrument as it joins the mix.

NO PASS
26 min for a piece of music is nothing special.
"Amarok" by Mike Oldfield is 60 minutes, for example (and IMO even better than Tubular Bells).
Sailors Hornpipe FTW….woot woot…my cat likes to dance t dis!!!
Amarok is a cool album
So is Ommadawn. This one contains the theme from the original exorcist movie.
26 minutes at a garbage butrate is useless. Wy even bother releasing a remaster in such junk quality?

Even the original 1973 copy will sound 10 X better than a remaster at such poor quality.

RLSLOG should give up offering music and BS games for i-Toys. They were great when they stuck to movies, TV shows etc. but audio is not their thing and the games for i-Crap? spare me.
Stick to what you know RLSLOG, it sure as hell isn't music.

This song is great but you really need some big quality speakers and a quality copy of the song. Its not a song that you would listen to in the car more of a song that you would but on the weekends.
Note to rlslog: I really like the site but why iphone games and I don't know the numbers but zitzot must be doing well by now so why put their post in here.
All in all keep up the good work.
@8 No, I an an audio engineer and it isn't worth the download with highspeed either. The original 1973 version in FLAC format, which soeone kindly posted above, dances circles around this one. Simply reegineered in Digital means absolutely F-All.
Links tested. 100% working.

This soul-less pap was unlistenable 35 years ago, but despite that it poured forth from over priced "stereo" systems, am & fm radio, even disco systems on occasion, throughout the 70's. I hope this re-release doesn't cause even a small scale repition of that. The mucis is vain, pretentious and self-indulgent. Those qualities made it ideal for half-witted marijuana addicts to convince themselves the music was 'meaningful.
Even worse its release presaged particularly egregious pieces of vanity publishing from the likes of rich wakeman and the execrable Jeff Wayne. Thanks be the punks came along and put all of those conceited overly technical drongos down.
@12
You have no clue what you're talking about. There's hardly any piece of music that has more soul than the original Tubular Bells. Most of those punk "musicians" you seem to like so much couldn't (and still can't) even properly play their instruments…
That is old, pseudo-experimental commercial works. Nothing worth it even for my Triangle
Yeah, I'm also going to offer my musical input, because ever dumb@ss on here has decided they're some kind of musical genius, so…..
FUR IS MURDER!
I wish this album would go away

What's up with you clowns…..so, if you don't like it…don't listen to it.
I'm sure we all like some music that no one else likes…SO WHAT!! Grow up and stop complaining…..and if you're so wonderful….make your own music and give someone else a chance to tell you why your music either sucks, or how wonderful it is???
For those of you complaining about the lack of FLAC here's a 1998 Remaster, FLAC and EAC.
This is NOT the 2009 release.

Tubular bells is… ok. They need to stop with the re-releases, though.
to Frank / Punk_sucks / Theodore and all you whom it may concern:
You got a big mouth there mister. Maybe i should block your mouth with my monster ballsack, homeboy.
You heard me. I told you to put my effin ballsack in ya mouth, homeboy.
You gosh darnit nut-gobbler, soon you\’ll be gobblin on so much nuts people would mistake you for a squirrel.
Put my monster ballsack in ya mouth homeboy and shut ya yappin mouth.
Monster Ballsack a.k.a. Johnny Ballsacks
what a pompous bastard.
this guy Mike Oldfield was, is, and forever will be the biggest useless tool ever given birth to.
Look all you pathetic fckwits who are slamming this release, dont listen to it if you dont like it, simple, otherwise come and blow my trumpet im sure you are all good at that seeing you like to blow your mouths of at releases you dont think are good enough
nice music, but horribly overlimited.
