Hey! Group STaNDaLONE pre’d the XP SP3 finally :) Enough said about it actually so I wont go into any detail anymore now…

Windows® XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) includes all previously released updates for the operating system. This update also includes a small number of new functionalities, which do not significantly change customers’ experience with the operating system.

Note: Microsoft you lamers why release it on msdn AFTER general release, are you insane??

    guys download sp3 and install it…

    your computer will be fasterrrr…
    sp3 seems to be the best service pack to xp yet
    it improves overall cpu + ram + hd usage….
    it has some new features , very minor…
    but the major thing is speedddddd!!!
    it much faster with sp3
    every av scan every program loads… it much faster….
    even web surfing…
    its like the speed of vista with old good xp….
    highly recommended
    my xp was fast…
    but now its like vista… hardly belive sp3 did all that…
    xp sp3 retail gonna be next hot thing.
    when you click on my computer or open explorer , or even seraching for files , you will feel and see the improvements
    its like a new os was born today.
    during the install the current os will be backup up ,so you can restore , like it was in sp2 , anyway , it works like champ no problems yet installed 4 hours ago.

    when i say like fast like vista , i mean only the speed :]

    it doesn’t eat your cpu usage like vista…
    to conclude
    it’s old good xp with some new features and speed improvements.

    guys download the first ever version of xp corporate by devils0wn in 2001 complete fresh xp with nothing added, then slipstream your own sp3 :)

    well its make your xp fast…
    when i mean like vista , i mean the good things , and that good thing in vista is speed , vista has lots of compabality issues and lots of cpu usage , but its a fast os.

    now xp is good , we all know it.
    what if it will be faster??
    that what sp3 will do…
    make it faster…!

    Nobody yet has mentioned this here:

    - You CANNOT slipstream this to an original XP disc
    - Service Pack 1 is mandatory before this is installed
    - Service Pack 2 is recommended, but not required

    You would have to slipstream this onto a disc that already has SP1 or SP2 on it.

    I was about to reformat then I checked my regular sites and wouldn’t you know it. I see SP3 Final and go well hell… now I have to rebuild the OS with this updated one.

    SP2 comes with sp1 so don’t have a heart attack. I slipstream sp2 and then sp2 and the beta’s ran really good better than the crappy sp2. The system never felt right, but with sp3 it kicks ass now.

    i got my version awhile ago but it was beta with the slipstreamed sata drives as i had pre installed vista which i didnt like, had trouble it finding my soundcard drivers but after a search about i fixed it. works great now but then i dont notice any faster speed as im using quad core so it was fast to start with.

    I installed it yesterday and that system is at least 10% more responsive.

    This works perfectly! already had beta version of sp3, and i just installed this with no problems at all :) i have a pirate cracked xp pro ;) so for all of those who wonder, it works fine if you have cracked it! Thx so very much for this torrent!

    Nice #79. Thanks for those links (` I’m sure the others will
    be thankful. It just so happened that I managed to somehow wrestle rapidshare, and get the whole 4 parts. Btw the single executable that those two have, is the same one that’s within
    the 4 rar parts, just so if anyone asks, they now know. Also they
    can slipstream this for themselves if they want to, instead of re-grabbing the whole XP iso pre-loaded with it. It won’t
    take long, just use corp with (SP2) to be on the safe side, and begin the compilation process. But still… keep your SP2
    disc around just in case something creeps up, like all M$ crap *cough*Visual Studio 2008*cough* has always been. (incompatible drivers, dogging network, who knows…) Good Luck and thanks again.

    when i installed sp3, and the system restarted, i got 2 cmd windows popping up…and one of them had multiple lines of ‘ERROR: the parameter is incorrect”. then they both disappeared. i’m guessing that’s not normal?

    WindowsXP-KB936929-SP3-x86-ENU.exe has different filesizes.

    This torrent unpacked is 316Mb (331.805.736 bytes), but I’ve just downloaded another one that, unpacked, is 336,1Mb.

    If you install this update before you install IE7, you wont be able to install IE7 afterwards. Just a heads-up. Stick on IE7 first….

    there never will be an XP x64 SP3

    x64 uses the server 2003 code base and can be updated with the server 2003 x64 SP2 build from about 6 months ago iirc!

    win XP x86 SP3 form here
    XP x64 sp2
    or vista SP1 x86 of x64
