Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate x86 SP1 Integrated August 2008 OEM DVD-BIE

Here’s updated version of Windows Vista Ultimate edition with Service Pack 1 for 32bit architecture aka x86. Updated means that it includes all available updates till August. BIE’s crack use one of so called OEM crack method, so just install it, and you’re ready to go. It’s updatable without problems as it appears like true genuine copy. But I’ve noted from recently BIE’s releases that some of the users have problems with their Vista releases (crack wont work). To be more specific mainly owners of OEM machines like HP, Dell, Toshiba and so on. From my own experience i can confirm when it comes to some of HP laptops / notebooks. But with custom built PC’s there is no any problems (also can confirm from my own experience). So enjoy it. ;-)

    Yeah, it uses a Linux GRUB boot loader to make it think it’s already activated. Other than that all the files are genuine.

    I am using the Home Premium edition and it runs great on my PC. I had the Ultimate edition but it slowed it down. I really bad-mouthed this OS in the past, I have found the right version for me. Ultimate is pretty good for a all in one package.

    Thanks speedy for the response.I seen that unpacked is >2GB,i asked becouse i don’t understand how can someone make a rescue cd with vista if it’s over 7GB.If someone knows and knows what program will do it(paragon,acronis,ghost? etc) please answer.

    Yes you are totally wrong. x86 stems from intel when they used to call their 32 bit processors x86, for instance 486 or 386

    I’ve tried one of the releases, I believe for July and after the time period it requests activation. The PC I have is custom built, at least inside most of it is custom, however, the mobo IS still from a DELL.
    Anyone think maybe just the damn mobo would cause the OS to activate later? Normally I wouldn’t think so, but maybe I’m not thinkin. N-E-Ideas?

    Phish when the first crack came out one of the options was to use OEM Asus and that did the same for me and I have an Asus board. You could try recracking the software using a different OEM Bios emulation?

    arhhh…64 bit is the shiznit, i reckon the best microshait OS ever made to this day is XP 64bit with SP1….if vista 64 ever comes close to performance and stability ill change, eventually.

    Hah someone recommending XP 64bit (an OS Microsoft refuses to support anymore and has really cruddy driver implementation) over Vista.
    Buy a new PC and stop whining that a new OS doesn’t work as well on your Atari 2600 as XP does.

    Yes but its better than XP x64 by a few orders of magnitude and at least hardware manufacturers are actually releasing drivers for Vista x64.

    BIE is the best vista version i’ve ever seen.

    Currently Running July, 2008. Downloaded 6 other vista version before but only BIE that satisfied me and didn’t waste my bandwith (Stable, Clean, No integrated stuff and no Stupid Dell bios) just vista, latest updates and nice crack.

    ah turns out the vista i downloaded a bit ago was incorrectly labelled :D
    i’ve heard 64bit’s pretty pointless because a lot of programs don’t work on it e.g. Photoshop (Although CS4 will support it) but there must be ways to run it, emulation perhaps? How difficult can it be getting anything to work on it? From what I’ve been told 64’s not really worth the hassle?

    yeah, I am on the boat of 64bit as well.
    I dont even know why microsoft made vista32…
    the computers that dont have a 64bit processer arent good enough to run vista anyway…
    then you get all these knobs saying vista wont run good on their 486’s…

    @48 Jesse… you just dl it and burn it then install it. no need to do anything else other than install your fav firewall, antivirus, photoshop… There are unattended install modded versions of vista and xp too that come with extra software packs. I’m using Vista Extreme Edition modded by Amit. Look around for those types of slipstreamed versions.

    The fact is, since the days of the veverable ZX Spectrum, Vista is the only OS i’ve ever uninstalled in favor of a “downgrade” (XP64), so, in my very humble opinion, it IS shaite.

    Btw there’s no use for x64 if don’t use more than 4GB RAM. Vista x32 is also optimized for 2+ CPUs. And you get rid of the damn driver problem.

    @58: All Ultimates are multilingual cause you can donwload all languge packs via Windows Update and yes, using Windows Update is no problem with all of the BIE releases.

    @thom (35): It’s obvious you shouldn’t listen to those people since every bit of “information” in your post is wrong. :( The 64bit version runs all 32bit software at same speed as on 32bit Vista thanks to their WOW (Windows-On-Windows) technology. Photoshop works perfectly fine too, both CS2 and CS3 (the only ones I’ve tested). CS3 is more fitted for Vista as a whole though. Also, for me Vista 64bit is more stable and faster than Vista 32bit. With a few exceptions (mostly old printers), almost all hardware from a few years ago has good 64bit drivers. They should never have made Vista 32bit. That was a bad move on their part.

    I downloaded the BIE x86 June 2008 version of Vista Ultimate. At first I was worried that it may not work but it did. During installation I thought that I had to put a serial key but there was an option to activate the key later. So I was able to install the OS on my new harddrive. When it was finished, I right clicked on “My Computer” to check if I had to enter a serial key to activate. To my suprise it was activated. So yea, BIE releases are good.

    For those installing on a HP, Dell, Toshiba etc there is a way round the crack in most cases. When you use the on board dvd drive you will encounter errors in the install process. However one way I goyt round this on my own Toshiba was to use an external usb dvd drive. This worked for me and hope it helps you peep’s too.

    A caveat emptor for those using the BIE releases. Call me paranoid, but after getting burned a few times, I like to check things out carefully now. What I found in the bie vx64 sp148 release was a cleverly hidden trojan horse [Win32:Agent-SLI]program in the crack.

    It is located in \SOURCES\$OEM$\$$\SETUP\SCRIPTS on the install dvd.
    There you will find 3 files. One is the script file, [SETUPCOMPLETE.CMD] that runs automatically after install.

    It calls BIESTART.EXE, which in turn calls a second program START.EXE.

    Shutdown.exe /r /t 120 /c "Cracking in progress....please be patient while BIE cracks Billys Ass!"]

    START.EXE is a password protected AutoIt script installer. The file it unpacks is infected. The clever thing about it is that it cant be detected by normal scanning because it is inside a password protected container, and during the install your antivirus program will obviously be shut down. I have no idea what happens after that, I didn’t install it. It could be that it is a false positive [using Avast], but it seems like a lot of effort to hide a file from detection if it isn’t. Once activated during the initial OS install, it would have free reign to setup anything it wanted, and protect itself from detection.

    Can anyone else confirm or refute this? I have no plans on using anything from BIE until I know.

    request too :)

    - some extra info, dl rar files,extract them and if necessary repair them (i use quickpar), burn to dvd and reboot with dvd in place. install from dvd. Dont enter any serial (skip it) and deselect online activation after installation. It will then install (and only install) Vista Ultimate (so no choice for other versions)

    - be carefull when you dual boot with XP, its known that XP removes yr restorepoints and many of yr backups of Windows Vista !! (there is a workaround for that.. google for it)

    @117 – The bootloader did not originally work for me either. Not pulling your strings here. I originally tried it with the “Dell” emulation when it didn’t work.

    The first time I tried, I clicked on the dialog box that tells you to wait for 60 secs. Then I closed the program before it was finished. Then, it told me it was done and reboot, next thing, activation was not in place.

    Second time, I closed the informative dialog box but left the main app window open UNTIL the process said it was complete..about a minute…next thing you know…it worked. I also chose the “Intel” logo/bios emu instead of the dell.

    May not help anyone at all. So I’m sorry if it doesn’t.

    It’s been mentioned this uses a modified GRUB, so I must ask does anyone have any experience with using an alternate GRUB install on the MBR to load your OS’s on a multi-boot setup?

    I.e. Can I use a different GRUB for the IPL function on the MBR?

    or another way to look at it: Does this just need the 1.5 stage on the PBR? or does it need the full modified grub in the MBR?

    Trying to understand how this version of GRUB is modified so I can use a different version to load Vista.

    The problem is, that Avast likes to tag False-positive all files, that has been created in AutoIT (confirmed by me, making for myself autoit script and avast yells like hell, that I have Trojan[Gen] – generic trojan. I knew very well, that its NOT a virus.)
    Anyways, I’ve copied these two files to my computer with winXP, and ran it. Yes, its AutoIT script, but my new antivirus prog. NOD32 has NOT tag this as virus of any kind.

    So I think, that release is virus-FREE :)

    When I goto install this, the boot loader loads into the install menu then I get a message saying “A required CD\DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a drvier floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now” And thats as far as she goes, I tried this on 2 machines same thing, the cd-rom is HP dvd630 and has no drivers even on hp site. ANY IDEAS?

    I need help, I just installed this onto my computer. I reformatted the computer then installed the fresh copy onto the C drive.

    Now its all installed but says it has only 30 days until it expires! :( What went wrong?

    This is multilingual deluxe! Ultimate runs language packs in just about any language under the sun – from Afrikaans to Zulu. This is how an OS should be anyway, it’s like that in the *nix world anyway, but with M$ you have to pay to get a product in your own language.

    I got xp in Swedish cause I wont use Vista in English on my dell OEM….I dont know a word of Swedish, but I wont touch Vista with my third leg ….also I know XP enough to wing it, blindfolded :D

    If activator won’t work normally then you may change ‘acpi (hpet table)’ to be enabled in BIOS. That setting is required for vista activation. Check your manual about it.
