Microsoft Windows Vista SP2 Update 32Bit Build 6002.16659-WinBeta & Microsoft Windows Vista SP2 Update 64Bit Build 6002.16659-WinBeta

WWinBeta released the Latest Sevice pack 2 updates for Windows Vista for both 32bit and 64 bit processors

*Note Frado: keep in mind that these SP 2 are BETA versions!

Windows Vista is available in six different marketing editions.[1] All editions support both 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x64) processor architectures, except for Windows Vista Starter, which supports only 32-bit architectures.Windows Vista contains many changes and new features, including an updated graphical user interface and visual style dubbed Windows Aero, improved searching features, new multimedia creation tools such as Windows DVD Maker, and redesigned networking, audio, print, and display sub-systems. Vista also aims to increase the level of communication between machines on a home network, using peer-to-peer technology to simplify sharing files and digital media between computers and devices. Windows Vista includes version 3.0 of the .NET Framework, which aims to make it significantly easier for software developers to write applications than with the traditional Windows API.

    Hi,

I had downloaded couple of different versions, and the problem is not the versions but the process of burning it to a dvd, burning was successful but the AUTOPLAY doesnt seem to work which render it unable to boot up from the dvd drive for reinstalling. Any ideas?

Hey, I have a question. Why are people still dling these cracked os's when they can dl windows 7 for free and it destroys vista as well as allowing you to have x64 ultimate and dl updates for the os.

I urge everyone to go look at the os comparison's between windows 7 vista and xp, 7 beats both os's at everything.

I don't understand these packs that come out every 2 months do all of you that use these have to reinstall everytime theres a new version? Questions might be stupid but I have never used vista :) so whos the stupid one now :) :) just kidding !!!

  43. Blunk
    February 14th, 2009 | 19:33

    @ Cheddars : your question IS stupid, but nevermind . . .

Why do people still use "cracked OS's" and Vista ? Well . . . let's see . . . maybe because they're using COMPLETE os's (the crack is like mhhhh 0,01 % of the OS, something like that, because they're working/playing with it, and best of all, because they don't want to install a beta of windows 7, as a main OS.

Yes, it's stupid, using vista again . . . but not even as stupid as installing a beta of windows 7 in order to reinstall the real thing in less than a year. Maybe you've got some time to waste.

Being less stupid than others is not a proof of intelligence. See ?

    To Sam #29: Your WRONG!

I'm running Vista Ultimate x86 Bootloader edition. I just uninstalled those language packs that it didn't support, installed the SP2 Beta update and now i'm fine with updates and everything.

Maby you should do a little research BEFOR you post a STUPID comment like that!

The only "problem", was after the restart, it had to configure 3 updates… and number 3 froze AFTER 100%, so i just pushed the reset on my computer, and then it has to configure the last update again! It took like 1 sec to do!

I know that i just crushed you answer totally, and maby some others too! BUT no need to comment how bad I am at English, just becaus you don't know what to say! I know that i'm not writing it perfectly!

    I'm Out – Xi-Bit

And by the way, it HAVE INCREASED the computer preformance! To those who says it dosen't!

    @56,
Everything is hackable, just depends how much time you wanna spend looking for a exploit. Humans cannot make anything that is perfect.
Linux is far from perfect. I personally have had NO problems with Windows. Linux will never become mainstream, even if you spend 24/7 going around windows forums and blog posts… to spit on and make your worthless comments about Linux being awesome.

Windows has its own problems, so does mac, so does linux, nothing is perfect, so get off your high horse. If linux was so perfect why dont everybody use it? I'm sure that may servers in the world use linux, however why do they still get hacked anyways?

If you are on the web, then you can be hacked, no matter what OS you are using!

So instead of using a beta os for the next year you would rather dl the next 15 versions of vista that come out between now and then? I asked a simple question and you try and make me look like the idiot for using a more reliable OS so Have fun dling the 20 different versions of broken vista.

And as for the go to vista in a year? Why ? Why would I ever use the least used OS of all time……

I honestly can't believe so many people DL this broken POS.

I think you left out the part where windows 7 beats vista in every test possible and beats Xp in most. So when you try to pass off someone else's intelligence for ignorance possibly get the slightest of clue as to what you are talking about."The real thing " you speak of is all ready outdated and discontinued windows 7 is "the real thing"

as for the "COMPLETE" os thing yah you are full of it vista hasnt been complete since its launch its riddled with bugs but numpties like you still argue its greatness even though microsoft themselves says its the biggest waste of company resources in forever.

@ Cheddar : saying that your question was stupid don't mean that YOU ARE. You're trying to compare two different things.

First : what about "different versions of VISTA" ? I've got the same version since Vista first came out. Some versions (pirated ones) came out after with integrated patches. So what ? It will be the same thing with Windows 7. So chill out.

Second : Windows Seven, even if it's a good version, is still a BETA version, so you will have to reinstall your whole system one more time, with all your softs. As my version of Vista is a stable one, and my computer is a good one, i don't have any trouble with it. So i'll wait for the corporate version of Windows Seven, then only i'll trash out Vista. If i want a reliable OS, i'll use my seconbd hard drive with Wdows xp sp2. That's all.

So : no doubts that windows 7 will be better than Vista, but i'll wait for the stable version, there's no hurry, everythings works on my computer for now, i've got no need to try a beta as a main os, maybe i'll try it on a separate hard drive.

The fact is also that using a beta version as a main os, even iif it's a stable one, isn't more appropriate than using a stable OS, that's all.

You don't like Vista, i understand your point of view, but it does not mean that people hanging around with vista are stupid.

@56 youpi & all other Linux fanboi losers

After almost 2 decades of GNU FSF Ubunut drama & BS, all we get to see is that Win is still the king, Mac is showing steady progress (though it is still not easily available in many countries yet) and Linux (free, globally accessible, even comes with free shipping at your doorstep) desktop share is dwindling by the hour. And trying to make it netbook ready turned out to be a comical epic fail! Get over it, you've already lost.

    Se7en is teh new L1nuX!

I moved over to linux nearly two years ago, first dual booting Wolvix and Windows XP, then later just using Arch linux as the sole OS because I came to like linux so much. I'm running a few favourite windows app's with wine even tho there are native alternatives & I also sometimes use TinyXP installed on VirtualBox with seamless intergration enabled when I want to test things out on windows.

It's smoother than XP and far less bloated then Vista. The set up suits me fine. That's all that matters.

People whining about windows or calling linux users names are probably all feather-faced 13 or 14 year old's too young to shave, they're just playing up by flaming people. Hoping to provoke an equally childish response. Their opinions aren't worth too much. I have no idea why people even bother with them.

@Linux lovers: we all get it. You love free open-source stuff. Linux is open source. You love linux. 15 years from now, some new open-source OS will be the next big thing and you'll just be a) jumping on the bandwagon like always b) just as dumb as we are.

Now go get a life and stop provoking Windows users.
