Microsoft Windows 7 ULTIMATE x86 & x64 OEM DVD-BIE

BIE is back with their OEM releases of Windows. They are well known by their recent Windows Vista releases, now they are doing the same with Windows 7. You can choose between x86 & x64 editions. They are OEM versions means already preactivated as BIE stated in NFO.

Better ways to find and manage files, like Jump Lists and improved taskbar previews, help you speed through everyday tasks. Faster and more reliable performance means your PC just works the way you want it to. And great features like Windows Media Center and Windows Touch make new things possible. Get to know Windows 7, and see how it can simplify just about everything you do with your PC.

    i always choose BIE releases,

i would like to know what is included and what is cut off in this release cos from its filesize seems 1 Gig less than the previous ones in both 64&86 versions,

apart from the preactivation cos its pretty obvious this is already done.

only if you dont plan on upgrading or are unable to

    September 9th, 2009 | 00:56

@ 9 no its not a dump question , if you are not planning to add more ram better stick with x86 version

  9. maybe
    September 9th, 2009 | 00:57

I would go x86 unless you want to run x64. at 3gb ram you should be fine to run either and win7 is way faster then vista so its just a matter of what apps do you run more of. I've been running 64bit for quite a while and all my backup apps are 64bit if available so thats my route.

which is best for 4gb ram?

    September 9th, 2009 | 00:59

Can I use this version to upgrade my 64 bit Vista?…or do I need to do a fresh install?

  12. peter venkman
    September 9th, 2009 | 01:01

agree with above advice, if you dont think you'll be installing more ram anytime soon then go x86. if you plan on getting up to 4GB or higher in ram in the near future, then go with x64

  13. me again
    September 9th, 2009 | 01:01

T-riz x86 only goes up to 3.5ish range so if you have more then 3gb and want to use it all then go x64. I have 8gb ram so i have to run x64

  14. aaa
    September 9th, 2009 | 01:02

@14 Ultimate should be able to upgrade Vista Ultimate to 7 Ultimate… Can't tell really, and I wonder if it wouldnt be better to do a fresh install.

Im assuming this is just an OEM disc with a subroutine built in that applies a serial key generated by the Lenovo master key and then uses an offline activation (vintage Hazar) to pre-activate it.

Anybody know differently? I wish they would explain in detail what method they use for something as general as this instead of using the nfo to bash other scene groups (not that I dont agree with them). Oh well, Im thankful anyway.

  23. x64 megashares please

So is there any advantage to using this over the original rtm disk+activator?
At least the old way you're not missing (obviously) alot of files from the installation and you know how you activated and can change it

  28. Help plz
    September 9th, 2009 | 01:35

can anyone tell me, since this is OEM, it means its Final release right ?

+ is the size accurate or should it be bigger than 2GBs

    thanks

    thanks for the megashares.

@Salmon_Sensay: these are iso files, use the proper application to burn to dvd, nothing necessary to make them bootable.

OEM is only English and not multi Lang….This is BEST release todate….

  39. mand1as
    September 9th, 2009 | 02:09

    @ 40

Nooooo the multi version is 6.7 Gigs

    the 7.600.16385 is 3.1 Gigs x64 and 2.4 Gigs x86 respectively

so whats the catch with BIE's versions?

why so much difference in size?

    September 9th, 2009 | 02:16

@42: Have fun with your minimal software choices, your slow file system, your having to run windows virtually to play games and use windows apps, and your little protection against hackers.

Your lucky OS X and Linux have such a low market share, or hackers would be all over your ass.

  42. damn

  51. pctechy
    September 9th, 2009 | 02:45

    Here's some info:
If you plan on running 4GB of RAM or LESS, use the x86 version.
If you plan on running 4GB of RAM or MORE, use the x64 version.
Only the x64 can handle over 4GB of RAM.

If you plan on using the x64 version and your running older hardware, you might want to check the vendors website to see if they even have drivers for a 64bit OS first.

    @57
Actuall,y if you plan on running 3GB of RAM or less use x86. Anything more than 3GB you should use x64. x86 version uses a max of 4GB of memory for everything. So if you have a 1GB graphics card then you can use 3GB of system RAM. If you have a 512MB graphics card, then you can use 3.5GB of system RAM.

but even with 3GB of RAM you should make the switch to x64 now. Driver support will be really good with this verison of Windows, and it just makes developers switch over even faster if more people are running x64.

@66 you don't know what you're talking about.

"x86 version uses a max of 4GB of memory for everything"

    Wrong!
GPU ram is dedicated to the card.
Maybe you should grab an A+ for dummies book and stop misinforming people.

66 is right. if the chipset has 32bit PAE, the OS will address hardware memory and subtract it from the 4gb

@66 actually the usable memory will be even less than that

  72. @74 & 66
    September 9th, 2009 | 04:31

    66 is wrong.
With that theory if you had a 32-bit os running two graphics cards with 1gb of ram each running in sli or crossfire then you'd only be able to use 2gb of system ram.

that's not the way it works.

    MU pls! :(

  75. eloj
    September 9th, 2009 | 04:59

78: No, 66 is right. SLI and Crossfire doesn't expose twice the amount of memory to the OS (or games, as I'm sure you know) because the cards will to contain the same information anyway, so only one memory region is mapped, the other card(s) merely shadow it.

In short, in SLI and Crossfire configurations you're restricted to the amount of graphics memory on the card with the least memory. You don't add it all together!

I think someone should put that A+ for dummies down and pick up some real experience instead.

Requesting 3 MU links. (for free user)..

Guys if you are unsure whether to upgrade from XP. Dont be! Windows 7 is absolutely fantastic, been using it since RC 7600 and have had very little trouble. If it freezes the computer deals with the issues in a number of seconds, neither XP nor Vista dealt with similiar issues so quickly..

    search kb 929605
as i said, it depends on the chipset. part of the memory will be adressed for the hardware itself and subtracted from the total memory the chipset supports. the remaining memory will then be limited by the OS limit.

#90, by your "logic," you also shouldn't pay for internet access either –might as well leech it wherever you can.

$15 a month is worth it for those who aren't stupid enough to rely on 200Mb chunk downloads from free sites. Good luck download 1080p Blu-Ray rips at reasonable speed. Enjoy downloading that 12Gb double DVD game?

Yeah, I can do que them up and have them completed overnight.

Anyone paying $15 a month must be an idiot, I guess, because YOU said so.

Search for "Windows 7Loader OEM 1.5 Release 2 23-8-2009 by Orbit30 / Hazar (32 and 64 bit)" just type hazar into search in releaselog.

I have used numerous BIE iso's of XP and Vista. I always found they worked great on most computers, but some Intel Pentiums would not work properly. I am assuming this may be the problem here also.

Someone please tell me if BIE is the best release for windows 7 ? Is the BIE group as good as ETH0 for winxp?
Should I be waiting for a later release, or is this as good as it gets until SP1? Should i wait for a better crack?
Is there a way NOT to activate it? This is because I might want to use a more updated way to activate it in the future, or before the 30 days is up.

Burn the iso on to a dvd….
Run the dvd & boot it from the dvd…
Windows 7 setup will come, just follow the steps.. no need to put cd key just skip that part….
Later it will generate a cd key by itself….

JKewl I used the megaupload links provided kindly from #180.
I had a computer of my neighbours that I upgraded for him and tried it on there. It works great and windows updates work. also it is activated. I used jdownloader to download it. It also extracts for you and you end up with one folder with the only thing you need is bie786.iso I use imageburn to burn it and then do a fresh install. However if I was not using jdownloader, I normally use winrar. But that one works and is x86 or 32 bit. Hope this helps.

    Ok here is the deal.
    This release works for me.
    Here is how:

    1.Download it and Extract (Rapidshare/Torrent)
    2.Burn it to a DVD at 4x Speed,not more.
3.Either Boot it or install via Previous Window.
    4.You can Upgrade,it will work,or do a clean install.
5.When it finishes before the end it will ask you for a serial. DON'T INPUT ANYTHING! Just click ok,a CMD program will open. Don't interrupt it,it will generate a serial and activate your windows.
6.When it's all done, you are free to do whatever you like.

Also,Windows Upadate work,so you can download the patches or w/e language packs.
You can also Upgrade if you have Windows Vista Ultimate 32/64 bit (Service pack, version, release doesn't matter),it will work, after that you don't even have to install the drivers. The only thing you will lose is Windows Ultimate Extras.

By now my windows states it's activated and i have restarted my computer several times. Will keep in touch if it changes. Hope this helps.

"3) I kept the box for "will check online for activation" checked."

That doesn't matter,my box was also checked.

Some pc-s have problems and i'm afraid i cannot help much beyond that, mostly Notebooks.

Sometimes Activation will say that windows is not activated, but restarting the computer seems to fix the problem.
Also i had vista before and it said 30 days till activation, when 30 days passed it either activated or reset the counter. Sometimes random, but never had a problem before. We can't know for sure if it will cause problems if it says that it ain't activated.
I installed it today,x64 bit tho, everything works fine.

Well i've tried many combinations but it looks like this bie release just does not work.

    1)Clean install (drive formatted)
    2)Chose English-UK keyboard
    3)No serial entered
4)Box unchecked for "will check online for activation"
    5)Username created but no password
6)Chose "no thanks later" for updates

Just does not work for me

I've also tried other releases & loaders with no luck!?

  201. Wonderglue
    September 13th, 2009 | 11:07

I'm sorry to hear that Jimbo.
Most Notebook users have the same problem, but i don't know what you are using :/.
If you use the sleep function it seems when you come back that it says "Windows is not activated, XX days till activation, activate now" but when you restart the computer normal,it will say Windows is activated.
I have set my Date 60 days after the activation date,it said "You have to activate windows today, activate now" I put my computer to sleep and after i come back nothing happened, and when you restart your computer it says Windows is Activated.Same thing happened to me on vista, when the countdown reaches to zero, nothing happens.
So i think this is normal, widnows will never deactivate, only show the message.

Got the 64bit installed on a NEW PRE-formatted partition on a HP dv6.I left the original OEM Vista 32bit on the 1st partition.
It works fine -so far- with message for choosing which Os to use during boot.
BUT it messed up the OEM Vista 32bit activation on the 1st partition !!! Vista OEM key NOW shows only 1 day left for activation and when I try to activate it says "wrong key contact HP". 224. Beowulf
    September 27th, 2009 | 03:25

You people are idots. BIE already confirmed that this isn't activated. It will work for a while but eventually you'll be updated and blacklisted, starting the countdown.

  225. me
    September 27th, 2009 | 15:39

Beowulf – Obviously this official MS iso (read: known md5 checksum = no surprises) won't come activated. You will need to use the proper tools to fool windows into activation and current available licenses are genuine OEM ones which cannot, under any possibility, be blacklisted (without blacklisting thousands of legitimate users, that is).

You CAN download a custom 3rd party iso which already has a loader built in (and thus is pre-activated), but why would you want to risk with an unchecked version which may contain malware?

I installed this weeks ago with no problems. Activated and updated fine. Now checking today and it says 12 days left to activate. I have this on dual boot and have only used the Win7 OS a few times. I guess something happened. I actually went to a Microsoft event today and got a free copy of WIn7 Ultimate with a key but the bastards gave a disk with only the 32 bit version on it. I guess I could use my legal key to activate my illegal copy of Win7.

Wow, those rapidshare files you just posted are very slow (I think there's heavy traffic).

Is this the same OEM some people are commenting that doesn't stay activated?

My Windows 7 x64 Ultimate is working 100% for 20 days now.
U did a direct upgrade from Vista. It’s activated, the only issue for de-activation is when you put your computer to sleep then come back it will say it ain’t activated “XX Days till activation or Activate windows now” even tho it won’t deactivate and it can stay unlimited time in it. Restarting will activate it again, you can also download upadates for it.
I tested it on my computer, and on my friends comp to,also did a clean installation on my sisters computer, everything is working fine. The only problem may be with Pre-Made computers like HP or Dell, installing on a custom one will work. Because the software (activation) is loading before boot. You can use a custom activator then.

And this release is activated and will work in future,Service pack is the only thing that may deactivate it,or may not. But Using a Activator will fix the problem.

I did post instructions before,on number 209. I’m a little sleepy and posting this from my office computer on work so sorry for any spelling mistakes or anything related to it.
