Microsoft Windows 7 Build 7127 x86 x64 DVD-iND

Here’s inD again with another new version of the windows 7 RC. The RC had build 7100. This one has some new bugfixes concercning hardware comptability. MS fixed this by releasing this new build. Enjoy

Description:
Over the past few years, you’ve asked us to make some changes to Windows. We listened closely. Now it’s time to share an early look at how we’ve used your feedback. Windows 7 is faster, more reliable, and makes it easier to do what you want. Both the everyday things and the killer “is that really possible?” things. Windows 7 was built around your feedback, so you’ll see a lot of things you’ve asked for. You asked us to make everyday tasks faster and easier, make your PC work the way you want it to, and make new things possible. And that’s exactly what we’re doing.

Improved taskbar and full-screen previews

The taskbar at the bottom of your screen is what you use to switch between the applications you’ve got open. In Windows 7 you can set the order in which the icons appear and they’ll stay put. They’re easier to see, too. Click once on the new large icons or bigger preview thumbnails and you’re ready to go. You can even see a full screen preview before switching to the window.

Jump Lists

With Windows 7, we focused on keeping the things you use most right in front of you. One example: The new Jump List feature. It’s a handy way to quickly reach the files you’ve been working with. To see the files you’ve used recently, just right click on the icon on your taskbar. So right-clicking on the Word icon will show your most recent Word documents. Plus, if there are other files you want to keep handy, you can just pin them to the Jump List.

Internet Explorer 8

Available now, Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2 helps you do what you want online, faster. With innovations to the address bar, search, tabs, and the Favorites bar, Internet Explorer 8 brings you more information, with less effort.

Windows Live

With Windows 7, some features previously included in the operating system are now available for download through Windows Live Essentials, a set of free applications available for your PC and supported by Windows 7. You can download Windows Live Messenger, Photo Gallery, Mail, Writer, Movie Maker, and more. With these great applications, you can improve your Windows experience, and benefit from faster delivery of these features and services.

most importantly this build is not a RC update its a leaked build from the rtm Department
RC is build 7100 and MS updates it through update service

You should be able to use it, I have used mine on 3 different builds.

Is there anything besides hardware bug fixes in this build compared to 7100?

hardware fixes you say? I could really go for some of that as I BSOD everytime I shut down due to a dodgy driver that windows 7 began hating from 7077 onwards. :(

    Don't be a WAREZ BOT.

I've heard that there've been some infested copies of Windows 7 floating around on the torrent sites. There aren't any virus scanners that work on Windows 7 so it's vulnerable. The infected copies are putting together a botnet.

    Read more here…
    http://www.maximumpc.com/article/news/torrented_windows_7_rc_helps_build_botnet

The Windows 7 RC is PUBLICLY AVAILABLE FOR FREE. The torrent versions and warez versions aren't providing anything that can't be downloaded from legitimate sources.

    Get your CLEAN COPY here…

Sorry folks, I've seen WAY TOO MANY phishing links + .exe files that only look like self extracting Rar files around here.

There's too many people trying to take advantage of other people here @ Rlslog. You know who you are…

this is how you upgrade if you all ready have windows 7 beta

    1.Download Windows 7 ISO RC.
2.Burn the ISO image on a DVD.
3.Now, copy the ISO image in a place where you wish to run the upgrade from. This location can be a computer folder, a partition, a USB dongle…whatever you want.
4.Now, go to the sources directory.
    5.Open cversion.ini by using Notepad.
6.Modify MinClient number to a value lower than the down-level build. E.g., change 7100 to 7000.
    7.Save the modified file.
    8.Upgrade to Windows 7 RC.

You can find 23 screenshots of Windows 7 RC1 (Build 7100) and 46 screenshots of Windows 7 Pre-RTM (Build 7127) with Office 2010 Preview on http://www.slimshadyplace.nl/ @ pictures

By the way; build 7127 is nothing different to 7100. I think they only fixed some bugs. I also know they fixed some bugs in DirectX (some people had problem with playing games on the RC1)

Today they are gonna work on build 7136.0.090518.XXXX

OK….Im confused as to the expiry dates of the Win 7 Betas/RCs. Right now I got build 7068 and I read that its valid until March 2010. However, I'm sure I read somewhere that the versions of the RC (builds >7068) will expire August 2009.
Can anyone confirm this? Im gonna stick with 7068 if these RC versions are gonna expire in August 09.

  36. phil
    May 17th, 2009 | 22:27

    @evildee

The RC will expire on June 1, 2010. Starting on March 1, 2010, your PC will begin shutting down every two hours.

Windows will notify you two weeks before the bi-hourly shutdowns start. To avoid interruption, you’ll need to install a non-expired version of Windows before March 1, 2010.

You’ll also need to install the programs and data that you want to use.

Hi guys, i never try window 7 before, so i get this copy and install like normally like others windows?

Question to ask, can others programs work finely in this window? i'm gamer, so will those cracked games work fine with this window? because in vista there is a proper crack for vista. Thanks :)

windows 7 is the worst so far. i tired it, and erased it right away. i need my classic menu, i dont need those eye candy transparent windows. i want (SHOW DESKTOP) icon beside the start button. and i dont want the quick icon menu to open up like sh1z.

to much disturbance. to much EYE CANDY rather than speed and utility.

  44. candy
    May 18th, 2009 | 03:10

get a better computer bob gates. win7 runs just fine and for me faster than vista. you can get the show desktop icon. google it dummy.

  45. unknown
    May 18th, 2009 | 03:48

@49 Eye candy isn't the only improvement.. I use OS X, Linux, Windows daily and Windows 7 is the fastest, hassle free Windows to date. If you think eye candy is the only difference you clearly don't understand tech. Windows 7 boots faster than Windows XP and much faster than Windows Vista, also the driver and 64bit support is far superior not to mention all the other improvements.

  46. xile
    May 18th, 2009 | 05:01

there is already a "show desktop" button beside the clock on the taskbar… if you don't want the eye candy then change the theme to windows 7 basic and change the taskbar to "ungroup" and "small buttons".

bob gates obviously didn't even make an effort to try. ignorant…

I am dual booting xp 32bit and windows 7 64bit very impressed at how good it runs and it boots up faster than xp,

to be honest its nothing like vista it looks like vista yes but thats it the speed/stability/performance destroys vista thats just my opinion tho its worth a try anyway :P

Windows 7 is nothing like vista. Even the core kernel is very different to Vista.

People think its the same because of 2 reasons:
    1. Looks like Vista some what.
    2. The uninformed…. Pre 7000 was basically using a vista (ie same kernel) base with a skinned interface, this was to show the concepts behind some of the new features. Post 7000 builds used a majorly rewritten and optimized kernel. Which is quite significantly different to Vista.

The new task bar is a feature you either like or hate.
If you hate the new task bar (start bar thing), Then be smart go google it…… there is METHODS to turn it back to Vista/Win XP style Task Bar (ie the following link)

    http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/01/17/how-to-revert-and-get-back-vista-style-taskbar-with-label-in-windows-7/

    Google is your friend.

The graphical interfaces system of Windows 7 RC contains old codes from Windows 3.1 where security is not considered when developed. When Microsoft optimizes the graphical interfaces of Windows 7, the incompatibility with old codes leads the system to blue screen.

Attackers will be able to firstly invade the System server of certain object to launch the attack, or to make a potential opportunity for a second attack. Thus, the security hole is a greater threat for the firm and government customers who’re using Windows 7 RC.

  51. joeblow
    May 18th, 2009 | 13:50

all you noobs who keep whining that there is no "show desktop" button have obviously not even installed and tried it. the area in the bottom right corner of the screen is now the show desktop (or make transparent) button. you can also easily bring back the old "classic" desktop button, as well as features that were in Vista such as the scrolling windows preview, those features still all exist they are just not hooked up on the desktop, all you have to do is find them in the windows directory and make shortcuts, duh….

Whats wrong with Windows 7 RC7100 x64? and 7127? when i download it from Microsoft and burn the iso, when I install it, it gets to 15% and says "Error, File Corrupt" So I came here and downloaded another copy and it does the same thing but at 16%????? Is it my computer? Itried several diferent dvdroms and HDD's but always says same thing?

    running
    Foxconn 945G7MA
    Pentium D 2.66
    1gb ddr2 + 2gb ddr2 = 3gig memorry
    1 80g IDE "boot drive"
    1TB Sata "slave"
    nVidia GeForce 9600 GT 1gb

Just downloaded the x86 7127 trying that next.
Just seems like a waste of download if i cant install a new OS!
