hmmm…. so whats the conclusion… the rtm is already there…?
someone with a better explanation…?
if rtm is released (read leaked) then how is that these releases still accept the beta keys provided by microsoft…?
it must be different right… at-least not be the ones distributed after registration at microsoft.com

well i am still waiting for my broadband to set right… then will try which ever is new and released….

@32 I have it on a my HP Netbook and it's as fast as if not slightly better experience than XP. On my Dell XPS m1330 it's massive improvement in user experience over Vista.

I had the happen to me so I just got the latest Vista released by BIE and re-installed and I was back normal

Build 7260, built on June 12, 2009, leaked on June 14. It is the official RTM escrow build and Wzor.net states that Windows 7 will hit RTM on June 19.

I might be better off getting a new hard drive since i have 4 700 gigs that are full of crap. And all of my games are installed on that pc. Do not want to loose any of it and i do not have enough blank dual layers to start backing it all up.

The last 4 or 5 windows 7 betas, or at least all the ones I tryed, were able to keep all your settings and preferences when the update option is chosen. Not sure if there is a way for it to keep all your preferences on a dual boot or fresh install though.

Can this be set up for duel boot with vista black? If i try to set it up will i loose all my crap or does it have a built in partition or do i need another program so i do not loose everything? I will wait 3 or 4 days for RTM but want to get a heads up before i install it

What are the minimal spec? and What are the recommended spec?

In x64 and in x86…

Like… processor, graphics, RAM… etc.
