Microsoft saying Gmail is a virus
People working in Microsoft are like English weather: they always produce or says something totally unexpectable. The last amazing quite is really funny: Microsoft says that every time you log onto Gmail you’re getting infected. Many OneCare users are reporting that every time they access Gmail, they are confronted by an alert telling them that the page is infected with the BAT/BWG.A virus. Unless Google has really ramped up its world domination schedule, it’s almost certainly a false positive, and though calling its competitors’ products viruses is certainly the kind of thing we like to pin on Microsoft, it’s more than likely a coincidence. Whether Microsoft will be remedying the trouble in their definitions or Google will be tweaking Gmail’s code to ditch the false positive remains to be seen. These guys should rather fix their own Windows mess before attacking someone such respected as the Google…

I like the Windows Pic you put in there!
true lol
Gmail has been totally excellent so far, although I generally use POP and not the Webmail interface.
When or if they ever get to the full-scale, open registration phase, i’m sure things will change pretty quickly for the worse.
Like mega advertsing and the usual piss-poor service we’ve come to expect from every other big mail provider….
what can I say…they see a threat.
Respect my ass! You start respecting others before expecting respect from another.
