Moore manipulates peoples raw emotions for profit and to feed his ego, with half truths mixed with half lies just like Sean Hannity,Bill Maher,Bill Oreilly,and etc.
I used to think this guy was a good flimmaker. Then I saw my first Alex Jones video and realized what a puppet Moore is, and what a joke Farenheit 9/11 was. I’m sure this film, like F9/11 and Sicko, will be void of any real truths and just be a “hey, look at me, I’m Michael Moore, watch me ask stupid questions” video.
For anyone who wants to watch something GOOD that will make you think, watch Zeitgeist, and it’s new sequel, Zeitgeist: Addendum. Both available all over the net for free.

Not true…but I doubt you have much of a true film knowledge to be able to debate that. A good deal of documentaries have scripted parts, and especially Michael Moore films have “staged” moments, where they deliberately go over the top for effect.
You know this is going to be really good and you can’t trust the 5.1 IMDB rating because the republican’t base is compuslively driven to seek out and give any Michael Moore movie a bad rating. Why don’t you “people” stick to the Left Behind series and Chuck Norris and Michael Meved recommendtions? This kind of thing is a bit too humane for you which we all know you’re averse to.
Trust the 43% tomato meter which normally would correspond to a roughly 7.0 IMDB rating.

I like a lot of what michael moore has done in the past, showing how the media in america controls through fear, making the country a more violent and in turn more fearful place to live, as well as going after companies who use child labor and don’t care about who gets hurt. Never-the-less I am pissed off that this movie is here! I come for good money payed movies, not this free crap, it makes a movie that much better when it’s not only a good movie but you are also pulling one over on these rich jerks who way over-charge for more than their materials are worth.:)
Micheal Moore is just a pretender, acting like he’s all anti-establishment and stuff. He’s a joke and a big one too, with his 10 bodyguards and fat ass eating burgers all day. The dude made a documentary about 9/11, and forgot to mention critical facts about the whole deal. Just like that fact that the US government, helped the Bin Ladens get out of the US. Just like the fact, that Bin Laden has not been charged with any crime by the US government. Just like the fact that all of the dude’s involved in the attack, were visiting sex shops and strip bars the knight before the attacks. Now visiting strip bars is highly uncommon for a Muslim fanatic, who’s getting ready to meet his maker muzzy heaven.

Moore was FIRED from Mother Jones because he intentionally disrupted the magazine, then sued them for it. Moore was FIRED from nadars organization for the same reason and he did the same thing. Moore was FIRED from the Nation magazine for the exact same reason. Moore claims he is for Unions, yet he has intentionally FIRED ANYONE who dares try and unionize his crew. Moore violated Canadian laws when he bought a box of ammo for his crocumentary, and did not go through the background checks, hence the arrest warrent for him if he ever returns to that town in Alberta Province. Moore VIOLATED US law by going to Cuba without waiting for his travel visas from the US Government like everyone else would have to do, then compunded it by taking others with him. Moore owes over 5 million in back taxes he is fighting against paying in court. I seems to me (I might be wrong but I’ll say it anyway) that many Americans don’t like Michael Moore simply because he is pointing out some of the USA’s actual problems (passion for guns, lack of public healthcare, dangerous foreign policy, etc.). Implying that the American system is not perfect, that it could benefit from “foreign” ideas, hurts the strong patriotic side of Americans, who would rather believe that, in every respect, their country is the best in the world. There are hundreds of quality documentaries released on every topic you can get from mvgroup.org or sonofshun.com, none of which involve a fat guy staging scenes for his own political bias.

Nothing demonstrates the power of corporate amerika’s control over the media and the amerikan people more than this thread which typifies the reaction of most amerikans to Michael Moore. The one that gets me the worst is the people who criticise him for making money as if they are old school utopian socialists themselves.
After Fahrenheit 911 which was released at a critical time in the life of corporate amerika, cause BushCo losing in 04 (or rather not being able to steal the election) would have let dems in power before Iraq’s oil was sequestered and a dem prez wouldn’t have been able to oppress amerikans at a critical time however much he/she may have wanted to.
So the blackening of M Moore began. Moore interviews that old pr1*k Charlton Heston who tells us that amerikans must have guns to keep the blacks under control and that is turned around to Moore ‘taking advantage’. Every part of Moore’s technique is de constructed in a way never seen before nor since on any other political commentary. Imagine for a moment if the methods used to critique F911 were used on Cheney’s claims about WMD in Iraq or the bs about Iraqi links to OBL.
No one has ever successfully demonstrated that Moore’s docus are untrue in the sense that BushCo didn’t steal Florida, that shrub didn’t cower in a classroom full of schoolchildren during 911, or that corporate control of pols in both parties ensures amerikans will never get health care or be able to end the war machine.
Instead, whenever a Moore movie comes out the population rages in a fit of ad hominem attacks on the documentary maker, while steadfastly avoiding the issues he has raised.

I just saw him on Bill Maher lately and realized I just saw two of his movies (Capitalism & Bowling for Columbine), so I went here to get another one.
after goin thru all the comments I can’t understand whats up with you guys. Where does all this hatred come from? It’s scary, seriously.
I haven’t proofed all the facts he is giving in his movies. But here some FACTS for you (since you are so obsessed with whats the truth and who tells it):
- he makes documentaries about serious issues, which are real problems, but don’t get enough attention because they get covered up by mock issues which are non-issues but keep you busy
- carrying guns is an issue no matter how hard you try to defend/justify it. there is no justification. where do you see anyone talk about it or doing anything against it?
- who cares what he has done or how screwed up his life is? (since I am to lazy to research if the said things are actualy true) It doesn’t change anything about the fact that he is displaying real issues in his documentaries
- and for that capitalism movie, just watch it. there are many experts who can give you scientific proof that capitalism as a system inevitably will fail. moore just displays it in his film for the average people. so whats wrong with that?
most of you guys just talk about who said what and who sckz and who don’t. this is nonsense. it draws away from the actual problems and thats what you should spent your energy thinking about, not who got which fact wrong and such irrelevant things.
