1. In both the cases it was the parents who offered out of court settlement. So if your son was molested would you rather go for the money?
2. He was in show business of all things and in that line of profession you don't want that kind of bad publicity in the front page of every newspaper around the world. So that is why he probably payed them off. But the damage was already done by that time I guess.

I was in his house for a coupple a times. I met him and had a meet and greet once. We started talking about my diabetes and he invited me in his house. I was about 11 yrs…. Some of you seem to forget that there are hundreds of artist, politician, stars, actors etc etc in the past and present who have been idolised and have not been angels with wings. Some of them might be idolised by you who claim that MJ was in fact a child lover. We could start seperating the artist from the person or the actor from the person, but anyone of you who has that kind of logic in him, please do this for all of them!
MJ and others have not been in the center of the spotlight for their sexual abusive reputations or other diabolic behaviour. They are widely loved for their work in the respected proffesion. I would like to believe that only 9 or 10 of 100 fans of MJ could accept the fact that he is alegedly a child lover along with the fact that he was the artist who made a huge impact in music.
We could claim that everyone is rotten, since these are troubled days that we live in and therefore base that fact of the payoff of the kids parent's to his guilt. Alltogether, payoff has always meant guilt. If that is so, I as a parent of a child that had been abused, would NEVER have agreed on money in return to my child's abuse! I would like to see justice! If you read that you'll see that the father was clearly out to get money and destroy MJ. The evidence wasn't there. The boys claims about MJs body didn't match the photos. Why did he pay? You can read it there – and it's not because he was guilty.
