hi i just got a hd 1080p tv today and want to know what time of movie i can dl to play on my dvdplayer or my 360 what sofware and what time of burner do i need standard? can someone help please there's alot of smart people read these pages thats why im tryin much apprecciated thx

easiest
method is to use the tv as secondary screen for ur pc or laptop
that way all files will play.
some dvdplayers will play xvid/divx as standard
if not use vso xvid to dvd to convert them to dvd.
mkv for 720p or 1080p
will not play on 360 or dvd with out being re encoded or converted.
there is a new blueray player which claims to offer mkv support.

thx nnn thats everything i wanted to know clear and precise. I'm not used to this i usually just convert avi to dvd paly them on data disc as mpg or avi whatever or dl the fulll dvd but know i got a xbox360 and hdtv i want utilize them in the best way possible just one more question if i convert a 1080p mkv to dvd will it still be a better picture that a standard dvd of 4.7gb obviously not self converted but dl that way? thx again.

Why are you constantly putting music here in the DVDRIP section? cop the hell on and put it in a music section, what a waste of space.
dvdrip section links to albums can't you fix this problem by now it's like 2 weeks!!!!!
