Miami Vice DVDRip – NeDiVx

The DVDRip of Miami Vice is finally here! For all the fans of the ’80s TV series, this might not be what you’d expect from Miami Vice. Michael Mann has used digital cameras to create a very realistic atmosphere and I’d say he succeeded. I can’t wait to see this movie in DVDRip quality. Once again I have nothing else to say, so… Enjoy!

Ricardo Tubbs (Jamie Foxx) is urbane and dead smart. He lives with Bronx-born Intel analyst Trudy (Naomie Harris), as they work undercover transporting drug loads into South Florida to identify a group responsible for three murders. Sonny Crockett (Colin Farrell) [to the untrained eye, his presentation may seem unorthodox, but procedurally, he is sound] is charismatic and flirtatious until – while undercover working with the supplier of the South Florida group – he gets romantically entangled with Isabella (Gong Li), the Chinese-Cuban wife of an arms and drugs trafficker. The best undercover identity is oneself with the volume turned up and restraint unplugged. The intensity of the case pushes Crockett and Tubbs out onto the edge where identity and fabrication become blurred, where cop and player become one – especially for Crockett in his romance with Isabella and for Tubbs in the provocation of an assault on those he loves.

Yeah, I saw the Telecine and the quality was good, but the movie sucked, they did not capture ANY of the series original feel at all.

I thought it did capture the feel of the original, Miami Vice (TV show) might appear quite cheesy today but back when it came out it was anything but, it was the very definition of trendy which is what the movie captured I thought. What alot of people were expecting (and didn’t get obviously) was something akin to Starsky and Hutch

There’s just something not right about this. This is not a dvd rip because the start of the film just isen’t right. From the Universal
Logo then the music kicks in and it seems to start part of the way already into the song. Then there’s the actual title Miami Vice itself. This is the same Telecine that was out a while back and re-encoded to divx standard. Having said that it’s great quality and audio but i still stick to what i say. There is no way that a film would start like this did from a Genuine DVD. And that’s why i also only got cd1 first to see if it was the same as the TELECINE and it is.

Excellent release!! DVD quality. Plus I really loved the movie. Like someone at the IMDB puts it: A Cop thriller for adults. No appearance of kids, even the chicks are all in their late twenties and no silly jokes for once. Aesthetics and soundtrack are awesome. A 10, for me.
