The amazing Metroid Prime saga is compiled in this three-pack of games for the Wii.   Metroid Prime 3: Corruption set a new standard for first-person motion controls in video games. Now it’s bringing those controls to the rest of the celebrated series, allowing players to experience the entire Metroid Prime story arc with the peerless precision of the Wii Remote. Nintendo announces Metroid Prime Trilogy, a new premium three-game collection for the Wii console that bundles all three landmark Metroid Prime games onto one disc and revamps the first two installments with intuitive Wii Remote controls, wide-screen presentation and other enhancements.

Each game maintains its original storyline and settings, but now Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes lets you use your Wii Remote to aim with precision as heroine Samus Aran. Based on the breakthrough control system that debuted in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, these new Wii controls bring an entirely new level of immersion and freedom to these milestone games

METROID PRIME — Samus Aran, a bounty hunter by trade, chases down the evil Space Pirates in the first game of the series. Their intention is to use a genetic mutagen called Phazon to create a super army and take over the universe. While the installments in the series before have never been home to deeply involving storylines, Metroid Prime breaks the shell to offer up one of the most intriguing and read-worthy sagas yet.

METROID PRIME 2: ECHOES — Travel to a planet torn into light and darkness. Hunted by a mysterious entity and a warring race called the Ing, Samus Aran must explore the light and dark worlds of this doomed planet to discover secrets and augment her suit’s weapons and abilities. And now, for the first time in the history of the celebrated Metroid franchise, up to four players can battle each other as they search for weapons, grapple across ceilings, and turn into Morph Balls to make their escapes.

METROID PRIME 3: CORRUPTION — The Galactic Federation’s Base Sector Zero is under attack by Space Pirates. Samus must boot up the generator to restore the defense systems. But at the end of her path, someone awful is waiting for her. The war initiated by Dark Samus and the Space Pirates rages across many planets as they attempt to corrupt each with Phazon seeds. Players use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to explore alien landscapes, hunt for weapons and information, and destroy the seeds. Saving the planets from Corruption isn’t enough, though. Eventually, players must take down Samus’ mortal enemy, Dark Samus.

    Good release. Does anybody know if they stretched prime 1 and 2? If they didn't and they just changed the fov then it's really worth it!

    well this game works fine but only through a usb gx loader and u need dol files to activate it here the link n help you need to get it working peace

    OneUP just released a DVD fix for this. You need to set the layer break to 2084960.

    Well…
    Metroid (NES) was awsome!
    Super Metroid (SNES) was awsome++!
    Then a bunch of Sh1t for a while, inc GC…
    Metroid Prime: Hunters (DS) was innovative, has better controls then any console shooter i have ever seen!
    Metroid something (wii) was… okay, but sh1t.
    This (Wii) will be… sh1t.

    how do i burn the iso? imgburn?
    it requires a double layer dvd? Isn't there that fit on a simple dvd?

    Hmm #19 is missing files backupMPT.r73, backupMPT.r74 and backupMPT.r75

    Will it work without them?

    This is how i got Metroid Trilogy to Work.

    Note: you must have Imageburn installed.

    1. open notepad
    2. type the following:

    LayerBreak=2084960
    ws_mpt_ntsc.iso

    3. where you see ws_mpt_ntsc.iso , replace it with the name of the ISO. If it is the same as what i have , then leave it alone.

    4. save the notepad but make your it has a .dvd extenstion. this is associated with Imageburn. if it is not , then go in windows at make it associated with Imageburn
    5. click on the saved notepad and Imageburm should pop up with the name of the image populated and the Layerbreak setting shown.
    6. click start to burn the dvd (slow speed preferred). remember it mus be on dual layer. I used verbatim

    7. that's it. your done!

    Other option:

    Do a search for: Metroid Prime Trilogy USA.dvd , it does the same thing.
