    didn't think rlslog was in the business of posting kids shows like this.

    JMA, I really wonder why people bother to "why are you posting this show" comments. There are a wide variety of shows for a wide variety of tastes. Do you think there is only room for the ones you choose? I don't care for most of the stuff posted here for download. Solution? I don't download it. But the comments comes across to me as, "I don't want to watch this so please don't post it." Seems like a self involved attitude.

    @18 "jgnm",
    It's childish, yes. Only thing it has common with legends of Arthur/Merlin is a handful on names and a bit of magic. And it gets even worse, as it contradicts with too many things of legends and any previous books/films of that genre.

    It's like making a film about bible and having only few names from it used. Like Judas as president, Jesus replacing David Copperfield, Lazarus being a head of C.I.A. :D

    Ok, it's not that bad. It's worse…

    Like BBC's Robin Hood, although yes they are accessible for kids, I think they have enough depth for adults as well. I quite like this series. Anyone know why the PDTV rip and not HDTV rip?

    This is a very relaxing show. Though it's loosely based on the Arthurian Legend, still it manages to deliver a good atmosphere on medieval/folklore England.

    As for being childish, depends on what each person considers something being childish. I, for one, think the series is on a low tone, not trying to exaggerate on pointless pure hack and slash action, but trying to keep a solid profile on it's demographic group which I consider is for everyone really.

    If you liked mid 90's fantasy based shows, you're gonna like this. Nice to see the show back after it's successful first season and thanks for the links.

    you are correct Arthur the real life magic was very different to the show's depiction of it. Don't mistake film for documentary

    I just have one thing to say for those who call this program childish, when was the last time a "kids" program was picked up by a major U.S. network?. Also If begs to wonder if you are right why NBC air the series in a time slot, where the demographic wouldn't be somewhere around the age of 16-24 years old.

    Are you kidding ? "Real life" ? Arthur was a legend, a story told around the fire for hundreds of years and changed with every telling.If he did exist there was no magic.get real.

    @35

    It's not like one author has ownership of the Arthurian legend, or how exactly every story has to play out.

    It's a fun kids' show, even if I didn't like their interpretation of the characters either. I kinda liked it anyway, but I'm partial to the medieval/fantasy genre.

    There is no 720p version, though it is broadcast on the same TV as Robin Hood was. And Robin Hood was available in HDTV and also in 720p. But if you want better quality, you can check torrent portal mininova.org. There is version of Merlin about approximately 950MB. Don't know what the definition is, but it should be better then ws.pdtv rip. PS. what exactly the WS means? I know that PDTV is pure digital TV, but never heard of ws. Thank.
