Yet another much anticipated XBOX360 game was released not too long ago. I loved the first one and this one should live up to the expectations according to the various major review sites. I’m definitely going to try it out and I recommend you guys don’t miss out on it either.

    I’ve been playing PC games since the Voodoo days and recently “upgraded” to the 360. Just got tired of constantly having to upgrade the hardware to be able to play the recent games. To be honest, 360 is an incredible console and there’s nothing like playing on a 50″ plasma in HD with Dolby Digital 5.1 surround. Besides, there is a trend of developers moving away from PCs as there’s much more money to be made on consoles. Just walk into a gamestop and see how many PC games are on the shelves.

    For those complaining about console releases coming out before PC and such, sometimes it’s luck of the draw, but mostly it’s because consoles are standardized units so you can use the same Xbox 360 you used a year ago to backup a game as you can today. PC releases on the other hand have continually developed and more annoying and challenging protection can really be a pain (did Mass Effect 1.0 for the PC ever get a proper patch, much less 1.1? I honestly don’t know but I do know it was a pain for the 2 weeks+ after I bought it and didn’t want internet checks on a bloody single player game).

    Anyway I know that will not stop future people from complaining, but you can at least point them to this post. As far as Mercs, I thought it looked pretty awesome on the Xbox1 so I will probably wait until Xmas break to play this and Spore and the dozen of other great games that will come out between now and then, but no Mercs 2 for now as college is pwning me atm. Thanks for the heads-up about the song too ;) .

    I totally agree with you guys.

    It is a shame to us to play a game, original or not, with the SecuRom.

    It is also a shame to us to keep updating more and more to play a game we can just play it on console without theses hardware issues.

    They said they prorrogate the PC version because the piracy, but it is a big lie, just see this, a game for xbox360 in 4 days before releases date.

    I guess Merc2 for PC will be easy to crack only if the guys wants to. If it is SecuRom, we have darkcoder, if it is other protections, we have guys like reloaded, clonedvd, razor; etc.

    I guess I will buy this game. I just have to need a confirmation. I am saving money for GTA IV, Far Cry 2 and Merc2, and I hope I can buy these.

    I hear ya bro. I used to play on amiga then moved on to pc with 2mb Voodoo cards. Talk about throwing money on pcs for years. My last purchase for pc was 2 1/2 years back when i bought 7950GX2 single SLI card for $700. And in few months found out there was no proper support for it and nvidia already releasing 88xx series. I picked up a 360 in 2006 and never bought anything for pc hardware. I have hooked it on my 50″ Sony HDTV and enjoy all the fps like COD4, BF:Bad company etc. Have recently modded the console and everything works out a charm. NOw i can’t wait to d/l the asian’ version for this as my console is NTSC/J.

    Piracy isnt the evil, here.

    If you guys use math, you see that if ALL people that pirate games are not the same if ALL people would buy games if the piracy was not real. So, if they make a trash game, we wont buy, so it wont sell. Now, if they make a great game and a price for a “poor” quality, it would sell like candy.

    So piracy isnt the evil, their prices and games are.

    P.S.: I guess I will enjoy A LOT this game.
