I had same prob as Corvin, using Daemon tools pro and alcohol 120% to mount image, autorun fires up ok, click on install and dialog appears…Please insert CD/DVD 1 into drive ‘X’…. Even wasted a DL disc and burnt the image..same problem. Any suggestions or help? Never had a problem like this to get a game to work before…..

this game blows….. really bad…. game play is weak, player view will give you headaches especially when you are in a vehicle, controls are poor, graphics is sub-par… why would they bother selling this stupid game is beyond me… the creators of this game should be hanged for wasting my dl and giving me a headache

wd raptor 154gb 10k rpm hd
Dual Crossfire ATI 4870s

And yes, this game lags with Anti-Aliasing at 0x, forget 8x. What are these coders smoking. The game doesn’t even look good.

Guys, did anyone get the message like “Please insert CD 4458365 do drive V:” when trying to launch the setup? I’m out of ideas – I keep getting the message no matter what I do and the install won’t start. I have daemon tools lite 4.12.30.

It’s an ok game. If you were a fan of the first one, then you might not be too disappointed. It is a processor hog and I need to get a top end video card someday. But Crysis looks better on my machine than Mercs2!? Must be some poor programming in there.
You DO need the crack and upgrade your vid drivers. On game install it will ask for a serial, but with the cracked “.exe” you won’t have it attempting to verify with EA online copy protection, that’s when it failed for me until the crack.

Serial doesn’t work .. none of them .. tried about 30 .. have EA found the keygen and blocked all the codes … gotta be connected to get it to work .. im downloading the crackfix .. but will this work or still ask me for the serial?
