Well here we have it, some of you guys were asking for it in the comments and Larceny brings it to you Meet The Browns DVDRip! This is From famous stage play writer Tyler Perry. I always wanted to see this movie. But now I don’t know if its worth my time according to the ratings on imdb. So I can’t and I don’t think I need to tell you if this movie is good or not.

    You’re partially right, but more than that they tend to watch a writer/director’s first movie and everything after that is judged by that. Tyler Perry movies used to all follow the same formula, and as such most people won’t even give them a chance before voting on them. They vote without seeing them.

    Hehehhe… number 78 on IMDb’s list of the 100 worst movies of all time. So this is abysmal.. Christian family entertainment with no jokes. The film is a drag.. get it?

    LOL @ the 2.3 IMDB Rating!!

    Straight in @ #78 in the bottom 100!!

    A shame really as i quite like Frankie Faison who some of you may know as Commissioner Burrell from one of the best TV shows ever made “The Wire”

    What is it with the bad films lately? if you take a look at the IMDB bottom 100 you will notice since 2000 16 of the worst rated films are all recent, 9 of which are less than 2 years old!

    With such classics as: Alien vs. Hunter (1.3), The Hottie & the Nottie (1.5) and Who’s Your Caddy? (1.5)

    When will the film companies learn to stop making crap films that no one will like!!?? They don’t expect us to buy that garbage do they??

    His movies sometimes have the ability to be unbelievable even though their somewhat interesting like Daddy’s Little Girls, he is not the best writer in the world just the only busy black writer we have right now, he needs to slow down and quit rushing movies out every year. His first movie Diary was excellent but all the others kinda felt the same. Why did I get married was hilarious but that was because Angela made the movie it was still very predictable.

    this place is great at putting the info up, but so slow at putting up the torrent i did a search and D/L from the piratebay of all places…..
    do they check them here before putting them or are they just slow at getting round to it….
    D/L Nim’s Island in 1 HR from scene-machine checked back here and still couldnt get the torrent to work….
    why is everyone so tied up with rapidshare when most of us still D/L torrents?

    Those movies always take place in the United States, where roughly 15% of the population is black, so it’s a bit strange that nearly every character is black.

    I’m not saying this in a racist tone, just that I think it’s ridiculous how these movies always need to show “black power” so bad that they cast for nearly every single character someone black.

    Something else that’s funny is that in some movies (like Head of State with Chris Rock) it’s ok to mock white people, present them as the square people that don’t know how to live life, but if god forbid the opposite will happen in some movie, it will be all over the press that it’s a racist movie.

    @70 I must disagree. Here in the states there are many, many neighborhoods where the ENTIRE population is black and many of Tyler Perry’s movies are set in those neighborhoods. In fact, other than t.v. I never saw a white person in real life while I was growing up. It’s not an effort to show “Black Power” its a true life depiction of that neighborhood. If you think it isnt true, go to a predominately black area and see if you see anybody that looks like you and vice versa for that matter.

    You must see with a truly narrow vision my friend, there are images on t.v and in the movies all the time that mock black youth, the way they dress and the way they speak. It is just so common place that it isnt noticed anymore.

    People love to throw chris rock into racial conversations because he likes to play the race card a lot but we are talking about a comedian/director who NEVER uses the race card. They dont compare. You are just repeating old tired themes that didnt make sense the first time someone said it and makes even less sense now.
