posterVeteran CAM/TS group PreVail has released a telesync of Meet Dave.
Overall this release is brilliant, video is decent and does not seem overcroped and aspect ration appears to be spot on, audio is direct and clear.
Not much more to say really, typical great quality from this old-school group.

Plot: A crew of miniature aliens operate a spaceship that has a human form. While trying to save their planet, the aliens encounter a new problem, as their ship becomes smitten with an Earth woman (Banks).

    I think the reason good movies don’t have TS in this quality is because there is more than 3 people in the theater for any good movie, for this movie whoever recorded it was more than likely the only person in the theater. lol

    I strongly suggest you not get this and wait for either STG or KingBen to tweak the video and audio. They will credit Prevail in the title so you know which copy it is but those guys do a great job with cams and when you see a before and after screenshot of their work, you’ll wish you had of waited for there extra tweaked copy as they did with previous source. They dont take long to get workin on em either so im waiting a few more hours. They may have “V2″ in the title or “NEW SOURCE”

    Damn I feel sorry for Eddie, He hasn’t had a good movie in years now. I don’t even remember the last good movie he was starting in. Now that is sad he should go back on doing some comedy stand up. Damn how come no one has release a good copy of Ironman by now :(

    i belong to a film club in wellington new zealand and i won fee tickets to see this movie but it was on a sunday a day i work and missed it,it got a good review on at the movies abc australia so ill grab a better copy later.

    This copy is nicer than previous release
    video is nicer so is audio although it does lose audio the last few seconds of the flick -you only miss his last comment and to be honest i couldnt make out what he was saying in the devise copy i had but i dont think its important
    i wish journey to the center of the earth and hellboy 2 look as decent as this copy.

    worse film I’ve seen in years. it’s just utter pants and eddie murphy doesnt suit this part, he’s too “look at me” needed someone less O.T.T. its pure pants, believe me you’ll be looking for your 1 and a half hour back! I miss my 1h30mins plus €10 cinema fee :-(

    This movie was pretty good….just a good laugh if you expect it to be a stupid comedy and not much more.

    I also liked norbit quite a bit so eddie murphy isn’t that bad in my books.

    Pretty decent flick.

    Kinda makes you wonder whatever happened to the ‘glory days’ of Murphy, delirious was fXcking hilarious!

    But none the less, the kids will enjoy it and there’s some small jokes in there for the adults aswell.

    Dang! I must have started a flame war or something. It looks like 20-something posts were deleted along with mine. I want to know what they said! Sorry if I offended you guys b/c I know a lot of you do a great job. All I want for this site is to stay on top of releases so its not a waste for me to come here. I’m sure there are plenty of people here that would volunteer to do movie posts if you guys are too busy. Some of those movies I posted may not have been the best releases, but almost all of them are worth mentioning.

    Meet_Dave_TS_XVID_-_STG

    NOTES:
    This is a release using the russian cam which is what prevail used and of course prevails audio…..
    The russian video was nice….sharper then the cam before.Thought it lacked a bit on contrast and colour,but overall
    good.
    The audio was good but did have some noise in it,like crackling sounds etc….

    Oh i know there’s about 6-7 versions of this already,but this is mine take t or leave it……simple really ;-)

    WORK DONE:
    Well firstly i stripped the audio and ran it through adobe audition and put it through a hiss reduction filter…..
    the noise is still there but not has bad.
    Then remuxed it back to the russian cam……
    The video i increased the contrast and chroma to add more colour.

    Picture is a bit dark, but very, VERY watchable. And the movie isn’t as bad as everyone is saying. WAAAY better than Norbit, anyway.
