iVE group continues their work with releasing another R5 rip of “Meet Dave” comedy with Eddie Murphy. ~700 MB video quality with line audio. There are nuke wars on this one just like on their previous “Speed Racer” R5 release:

Plot: On New York’s Liberty Island a massive fireball crash lands, with a man emerging unscathed. He’s Dave, an Eddie Murphy-shaped spaceship controlled by 100 aliens, each one an inch tall. Its captain (also played by Murphy) pilots the Dave Spaceship along with his crew from inside its head. The aliens are seeking a way to save their planet, Nil, from an energy crisis by draining the Earth’s Oceans for salt. However, complications arise when Dave falls in love with single mother Gina Morrison (Elizabeth Banks). More complications arise when the police begin tracking Dave from the crash site.

    i watched the TS of this movie and it was not that bad — definately not a great movie but better than love guru or prom night or alot of stuff and deserves more like a 5 on imdb

    don’t forget to mention all the ads that take over the whole page and even after you click skip ad it keeps redirecting you to the ad and the only way to stop it is to close the browser

    Firefox and Greasemonkey take care of Releaselog’s ads. I’ve changed the background color, gotten rid of Releaselog’s ads, and positioned everything on Releaselog to suit my tastes, among other things.     another idea to get rid of all ads: disable javascript for this page.

    on opera i just have JS disabled by default, and i just allow it very easily for each site i consider useful (right click -> edit site prefs…)

    Wow!!! This really works. I knew about hosts file to keep my son off the p0rn sites but didn’t know it could work like this. I guess it works so good because of the 1000′s and 1000′s of sites it has listed in the host file.

    @21 and @24 – totally agree. I’d rather know instantly the video quality of the release, so I don’t have to check sample links of the 22 CAM/TS versions of The Dark Night. A link to a nice HQ poster (or even DVD cover) is fine of course. :)

    I downloaded this. The sound is apalling. It crackles and drops in and out all the way through. Hell, I can’t even tell if it’s out of sync, it’s that bad. Avoid until it’s fixed.

    To the people like me fed up with the ads and using internet explorer just go to internet options security and add this site to your restricted sites. it takes care of all those annoying audio pop ups. I had a work pc crash cause of their ads. I mean one a minute and every click, come on. I got to clean my pc now cause I dont know what bots they added.

    The Scene is doing non profit work and these sites are advertising? I dont want ads.

    Viewed a sample off usenext and picture is great but there is around 5 different sound levels in the first 2 mins, not to mention the crackling. If you are like me I don’t mind the cam line audio as long as it’s at a close to constant which this certainly is not.

    I can understand that but when they have so many ads that it freezes up IE, then that’s where my problem lies. But that’s okay now. The host file that was recommended has taken care of ads not only on this site but many others as well, even my local news site.

    i dont usualy watch films with darkies in it (except for mississippi burning)but since we let a few move over the water years ago and they started breeding its getting harder to find a film without 1 in do they all eat southern fried chiken or what,and have they all got big bums they can dance very well though and are good runners dodging those lions helps i supose

    Real bad humming in the audio.

    Didn’t feel like watching it with that noice, so:

    I extracted the audio, used Audacity’s noice remover to remove the humming noice, and then used VDub to add the new sound.

    This did wonders to the sound! No background noice, no humming & REAL crisp. That was 10 to 15 well spend minutes..

    Can really recommend doing this!

    Hum… Tried to watch it in the home dvd last night, i could not get past 5 minutes, the audio is just terrible!!! Hope there is a new release, I like Eddie Murphie, if it’s crap it’s crap but i want to watch it anyway cuz i am a Fan of the Men.
