Meet Dave CAM XVID-RUiNS

I think out of all the scene groups, RUiNS is the one I trust the least as they don’t know enough about the scene and haven’t been encoding long enough to know their shit (if you see some of the nukes for their releases you’ll know what I mean). Well anyway they have brought us a cam of Meet Dave, which has been available on P2P since this morning thanks to group THS, so I’m guessing thats where they get the source :(

Quality: Its an NTSC cam so that’s why the video is so jerky, and the encoder didn’t bother checking the video to see whether it has dupe frames or not… The audio is not bad for cam, but I’d wait for better quality to see this ;)

    yeah this movie looks to be a bomb . went to watch journey to the center of the earth in 3d and had a great experience. thanks to rls log for providing me with info and a platform for links.3d is the way to get people in the theater and pay inflated prices but i can almost justify it for 3d.     not stolen from THS, THS just uploaded the original torrentleech release to their site but took off all the TL stuff from it, its kinda lame even for them…

    anyways, its a silver.. who cares, not bad quality though…

    if you get the original dvdr from THS, the folder even has TORRENTLEECH on the name LOL

    dupe frames means that a frame gets repeated every so often

    ivtc (this term is often misused by nukers such as in this case), means that the video framerate is not changed to 23.976 FPS from 29.97 FPS ONLY. When a movie has a framerate of 25 FPS or 23.976 FPS and a nuke is given for bad ivtc, you know that the nuker is an idiot and means that the video has dupe frames :D

    “ivtc (this term is often misused by nukers such as in this case), means that the video framerate is not changed to 23.976 FPS from 29.97 FPS ONLY. When a movie has a framerate of 25 FPS or 23.976 FPS and a nuke is given for bad ivtc, you know that the nuker is an idiot and means that the video has dupe frames”

    bad ivtc means exactly what it says, the ivtc technique applied to make it to 23 fps was bad, hence the nuke. wow when will it stop :p

    lol, its not like there are “techniques” for ivtc’ing… You either ivtc or you don’t. If it has dupe frames, than say dupe frames not some other crap.

    just a fyi to those that might try to grab the plube release of this movie, DON’T. its all messed up depending on the media player ur using.. in media player classic its playing like your fast forwarding it, and the audo is just noise. and in wmp its running slow and doesnt have any audio.. ur better off getting this nuked one or the internal.

    you can clearly see from the sample alone on the devise internal its out of sync. so i’m guessing all the current cam releases have some problems.
