hello i cant install kingdoms even if i have M2TW in the C:\Programfiles\SEGA\MedievalTotalWar2 folder. any idea why? plz plz plz someone reply to this i really want to plae kingdoms.

Wow… i had completely forgotten about this place. (i’ve gone onto bigger and better things(Dungeon Siege2/Universe at War*cough*cough*)) good thing it was in my favorites list. Anywho, the retrofit mod is a mod by SEGA that allows one to play the “original” conquer the world map/campaign with expansion features. My advice – go with Stainless Steel, it does the same thing PLUS adds loads of fancreated content(new factions/expansion factions included, new graphics/skins, and more!)

Finally I got it: the whole problem is in the medieval2.exe – it becomes v1.3 and we need the crack for that version. RepublicofClones has already posted the link to that crack. After that I can run both M2TW and the 4 Kingdoms campaigns.

And what’s that about that retrofit mod – what is it doing ?

Hi all, I’ve installed Medieval II, then Kingdoms (it patches to version 1.2 then 1.3 during installation). Then I’ve used the crack kingdoms.exe; but Ican only play the 4 kingdoms campaigns (America, Teutonic order etc.), is this supposed to be so, or smth is wrong ?

By the way, I can upload that crack for kingdoms if anyone needs it

Medieval II Total War Kingdoms Expansion, i have installed the game and it starts well but it freezes in 1min.. its the same problem with all 4campain…. my computer does meet all the game requirement…. can someone help me on this plzzzz???

ok how does this work? i get disk one fine, there was one zip file or whatever nut the other file has no zip/rar files in it just a bunch of random files, how am i supposed to extract that??

I tried the first game and just found it annoying, the AI would get to run your reinforcements you’d spent four moves getting into place and you got to set back and watch for an hour-BORING! They said kingdoms was different so I went and bought it. It won’t even INSTALL -keep getting an error mssg “a required security module cannot be activated. This program cannot be executed(6000).”
Seag and SecurRom’s solution? Spend hours pouring thru their faq’s to find out why their software won’t work…yeah right! I’m going to get my money back today.

I got me a copy of kingdoms, but I cant get it to run
I guess I need the crack for it, an the MTW II v1.3 crack, but I cant find them anywhere

To dcamden – something is probably wrong. all i can say is reinstall and patch to v1.3. If it still persists then I’m sry but I can’t help you any further

Hello, I have installed Medieval II Reloaded. I have the 1.1v patch working and now when I go to install the 1.2v patch, it gets about two bars from the end and stops on C:\packs\data_1.pack” I was wondering if it just takes awhile or if there is something wrong.

Howdy~ Anywho, to start one of the four Kingdoms campaigns (for this example i will be starting the crusades campaign) you can only access the executables from the start menu. Thats right kiddies…the developers decided in their infinite wisedom to ONLY put the campaign executables on the start menu. There are no other executables anywhere. If you want to start a campaign with task manager-then you’re screwed(unless you copy the exe’s to a different folder, say My Documents.)
So to start a campaign… Goto the start menu…programs…SEGA…M2TW and there in the M2TW start menu folder should be the respective executables of each of the 4 campaigns. Good Luck!

Hi all,

Please help. I read the messages here but not sure.

* I downloaded that flt version.
*unrared all files in their own folders (DVD1 and DVD2)
* Burnt them to 2 seperate DVD’s
* Installed it including the patches 1.2 and 1.3
And all seems good. Good the campaigns etc.

First instance I get the securom thingie

I copied the .exe in the correct folder after backing up the original.

I click it and like some peeps say get the normal not kingdoms looking first screen. After a few seconds it crashes and I’m back with my desktop.

Tried multiple other cracks but after downing it all is the same crack.

What’s simple me doing wrong.

Maybe need to start it up in a diffrent way by click some file on the dvd’s???

Please help, Many many many thanks from a TW addict for years
