MacDrive is (could be) useful program for anyone who wants to access Mac HDDs under Windows OS. After installing this app, you can do usual tasks with Mac drives as would you with any Win HDD.

NOTE: My antivirus reported keygen as “Heur.Pck.FSG”, but don’t worry it’s false positive.

    Something not mentioned that people find this most useful for is formatting drives for Xbox 360. Xbox 360 will only read FAT32 and HFS+
    If you want to watch HD films then you will have files over 4GB which HFS+ supports :-)

    @5 You don't need this or any other program to access a Mac over the network, you just have to turn on windows file sharing on the Mac.

    Anyone try with Windows 7? the release notes dont say anything about it working with 7, and I hate rebooting to check.

    YES, this application works on Windows 7.
    Seeing as I have version 7.2.2 working on my Rig right now, and v7.2.4 on my Laptop.
    (use it to access my Mac formatted iPod)

    The issue is, you cannot run the INSTALLER on Windows 7,
    as it requests Windows version =< Build 6000.
    Thus, Windows 7, does not pass this check, and install fails.

    You need to edit the .msi file to allow it to install.
    Once this is done, the application works perfectly.

    I won't be upgrading to this version, as I've had issues with v7.2.6 previously.
    well, any version above v7.2.5

    Ohh, and @21, 22
    This is for WINDOWS!
    You use it to access HFS/HFS+ formatted drives, a formatting superior to that of FAT32 which does not support File sizes larger than 4GB.
    And, Journalling in HFS+ makes it better NTFS.

    (also, MacPods seem to perform better than WinPods)
