Install this to slow down your PC to play those old time games! ;)
Better install the Symantec released a few days ago instead, if not NOD32 or Kaspersky.

This Program loves to delete keygens and alike without warning, even though theres no infection present. Install this and you will lose control over your files !

I love this program. Although it might be a little heavy on the resources, for my GF, mother and all other non-computernerds its very easy and gives a lot of pointers towards ‘THIS IS AN OBVIOUS SPAM BUT DOWNLOAD IT’ (which they don’t recognize ffs).

However, if I install this, it already recognizes my old activation. I don’t want that, I just tried erasing my registry with ace utils, does anybody know another way to re-register?

I liked McAfee earlier but since it deletes files without warning (especially keygens) it is enerving me :)

Mcafee has a poor virus detection rate when compared to Kaspersky or even Norton, I’ve tried all sorts of programs but Kaspersky and Nod32 are my faves.

£9 for a whole year of Avira Antivir Premium.

THE SINGLE BEST AV ON THE MARKET. =]

The above statement is borne out by just about _every_ benchmarking/comparative site out there.

Wake up to the Norton/McAfee sh1tware NOW! :P

ESET Nod32 Is the best AV out there, AVG is also on par with it. I’ve been using these two for the past 6 years and they’re promising. These guys won’t let you down.

AVG Free version will do fine, Norton and Mcafee personal edition’s are resource piggies[there enterprise stuff is much better, why is that hhmmm?].
If you know what you are doing with a computer then go w/ no AV and just VirusTotal any DL’d file, & run an occasional Spybot or Malwarebytes scan, and using Firefox w/ AdBlockPro and Noscript you can be pretty carefree about infectious pages as well.

Avast or Avg is the way to go, so far i have at least 2 years using Avast on worst web pages and infected files and never got any problem so far is light, free! and dont consume resources 9.0/10 really recomend this one. and if you wanna go for “pay one” then go for Kaperski.

There is a big reason why universities site license McAfee and Norton products over nod or the like, they're far better for an enterprise environment. And disabling McAfee from deleting your keygens is easy, you just have to be able to click into the menus and have an IQ over 100
