Looks like we get a couple of movie to watch tonight! About half an hour ago OPTiC pre’d this fine R5 of Max Payne movie reincarnation. I played the first game, loved it. Not certain about the movie though, rating’s decent but lots of people weren’t impressed. It has some nice eye-candy mind you, I believe Ms Kunis leads the pack ahead of Bond girl Kurylenko…

    This is why this site is kinda going down the pan, and that reason is they allow any dipsh*t to post links.

    as its been pointed out, already you have a porn movie and a cam job of the movie all claiming to be the r5 version….until something is done about this its not worth wasting time downloading links from comments posts.

    I never get picky with releases when I get them for free, but this does not look like an R5 at all, at best it looks like a supped up TS. Video and audio are soooo bad, I rather keep waiting for something a bit more decent.

    To add subs using convertxdvd

    you will see a subtitle file in the AVI file….Just right click on that and add the SRT file to it….Most people make this EASY mistake….You forget to turn SUBS on with your DVD remote so those 30 seconds in the movie of subtitles you miss….It does not hardcode the subs

    @102, if you open the current .srt file you can see the format, it should be quite simple because it is only a few lines of dialogue. Just add in the lines and put a few seconds for where you think it should go, then test it out and adjust a little, it doesn’t need to be perfect.

    i never posted hear b4 but i i had to let everybody know that this movie is a huge pile of bs, any fan of the game(like me) would be pissed i actually went to see it in the movies and was mad thank god i only payed to see saw 5 they could have done sooooo much better with the cast they had

    Wake up…R5 is a dvd with Russian spoken and you have to cut the audio with English..and the only audio available right now is from the TS and cam versions…thats why the audio is the way it is…

    Hey BooF4FooD, if u mean another program that can play the file and add subtitles then use VLC media player, it’s free and it plays more files the WMP, to add subtitles to it all u do is open up the player, click settings and select preferences and click the plus sign on the side of Video, then click on subtitles and select browse, go to the location the srt file is saved double click it and press ok, close the player and then open the movie with the player and the subs will comeon automatically, if not just right click on the movie screen and select Subtitles and select English and you should see the subs on the screen, enjoy.

    I duuno, you guys know way more about this stuff I than… weather it’s my speakers, my audio codec or what.. this movie played like a R5 for me.. audio was great.. video way great, a little bright at times but nothing to take away from the film… I agree that its foolish to nuke the release for 10 seconds of missing subs, to be honest this movie should have been nuked by the producers when they read the script, why oh why to I keep watching video game adaptations thinking “oh this one will be different.. it won’t suck”. ahwell, at least I didn’t waste the cash watching it at the cinama.

    You guys saved me from wasting my money at the cinema to watch this. Phew! Movies like this are the reason we can justify video piracy. I feel sorry for those who paid to sit through this.

    The game had a great plot, great narration, great characters and a lot of emotion. I just can’t understand how they managed to f’k up the movie so bad.

    @140 Nice post Leon, this subtitle file works correctly for the foreign language scenes that was missing before and works when playing in windows media player. I renamed file to opt-maxpayne-r5.srt and works perfectly.
