Well, I’m ill and completely worn out, but I thought this is worth posting. REMAX keeps posting high quality British TV rips (including many documentaries) and this looks like another important one. The title says it all and all of you should know about the Virginia Tech incident, but if you don’t read the release description below.

Many of the releases here never have torrents, particularly documentaries. What are good torrent sites to find these at? Public or private, I just need to know what sites to try to get into.
I didn’t know it was a mystery about how this guy ended up doing this… he was crazy. It was stated from multiple sources that he had severe mental problems, and the school’s administration was even warned that he had problems, but did nothing, for fear of violating the all important political correctness mandate. It’s no mystery, it’s been reported, and a well known fact: Crazy people do crazy things like massacre people at school.

Yes crazy people do crazy things, but even sane people go crazy sometimes too; there was a shooting recently in New York state, I forget where (isn’t it sad that it’s starting to get a bit hard to sort them all out?) but the whole thing was, literally no one that knew the person, I repeat, NO ONE saw it coming. So for Virginia Tech, it’s easier, we can sleep well at night and just demand harsh psychiatric tests. But in other cases we’re forced to admit that sometimes you can’t see it coming, and you never entirely know what’s going on in someone’s head.

watched this last nite on bbc2,was really interesting,the shooter had some real issues,but his parents didnt really help him at all,i kinda felt sorry for him in the end,that still doesnt excuse what he did that day,if it wasnt so easy to buy guns who knows what would have happened

This wasn’t the best documentary i’ve watched but worth a look and helped kill some time. Does anybody have any links for another REMAX relase called Cutting Edge The Human Spider. All about Alain Roberts the french free climber. Downloaded a torrent off mininova but its got copy protection on it and i dont know how to get round it

The guy wanted approval from others about his stories and when he didn’t get it he tried to make them more real by enacting them, but still people didn’t give approval for what he was doing so he did something that would force people to acknowledge him. He should have never been given so much fame for what he did, all the news reports showing his videos, he should have been put in a grave marked “fail”
If only he’d learnt to give himself approval rather than trying to get it from others.

32 kills in such a short amount of time is quite impressive. I’m glad it happened. Don’t F with people or you might get shot up.
To wg and all the other commenters: I don’t care whether you believe me or not but one of my friends from high school was killed at Virginia Tech. I can’t believe that anyone would say “I’m glad it happened” or think “thats what americans do, torment the weak. and act all surprised when they get shot the F up.” This was one of the worst things to have ever happened. I still can’t believe that my friend is dead and that she’ll never get to live out her life like she deserved. Please learn to show a bit more respect because you never know how your words may affect others. I for one wish that I could forget all about what happened at Tech but I am reminded of it almost every day.

It’s really stupid to assume that the people who he shot were the ones who’d picked on him at some point. He just shot at random people, who probably had never said or done anything to him. It’s cowardly and tragic that he killed so many people who hadn’t done anything to deserve it. I wonder how you people who defend/glorify him would feel about it if someone who was once picked on shot you at random and paralyzed you or killed your best friend or a family member just for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It’s one thing to kill someone who’s bullying you, but to kill a bunch of random people just because someone else bullied you at some point is just cowardly and pathetic.

First of all, the media blamed violent video games for inspiring him (as they do with all such crimes), but it was later proven that he didn’t own or play video games.
Second, did you ever stop to wonder why these psychos always go on shooting sprees in schools? Sure, there are a lot of people there and many of them are people he knows, however there’s another factor that makes schools an attractive target for psychos; It’s illegal to bring a gun onto most campuses, even if you have a completely valid permit to carry a concealed weapon. Schools are “gun free zones”. This supposedly makes the students safer by ensuring that there are no guns in the school. What it really does is make sure that pretty much all the victims will be unarmed if and when some psycho decides to go on a shooting spree. See, only honest, law-abiding people obey such laws and they’re not the ones you have to worry about. You have to worry about the psychos and the psychos don’t obey the laws.
How far do you think he would have gotten if some of the staff members had been armed? Would he even have had the balls to try it if he thought there was a chance that he’d be the one getting shot as soon as he pulled out his guns?
If normal people having guns increases the chance that someone will get shot, why is it that you *NEVER* hear about anyone going nuts at a gun show where 99% of the people are armed and they’re surrounded by guns of every shape and size?
Maybe if people in this country had never been allowed to own guns, we wouldn’t have this problem. But people WERE allowed to own guns and now it’s a problem when a psycho decides to use them. Banning guns from schools and other public places doesn’t make people safer, it just makes victims out of the law-abiding people who would otherwise be able to defend themselves and others.

Virginia has a very liberal CCW permit program that’s been around for more than 10 years now w/almost ZERO cases of a permit holder using the weapon illegally, let alone in a crazy manner. And this is w/o taking into account all the undocumented times that a gunowner used it to protect himself and family. Anyone w/o a mental nor criminal record can get a concealed weapons permit. But unfortunately, concealed weapons are banned from schools, churches and places that serve alcohol. At most other places, someone would have shot this guy dead before he could have fired that many shots. But in a school, a gun-free zone, he faced no resistance.
