     Hate to spoil your party but there will be no entries for cracks in gameburnworld or gamecopyworld. They don’t host cracks, they host no-cd/dvds. ME needs no no-cd/dvd. The crack is for us who have no money for the game.. US$65,00 for it in here, and i just had to spend money buying a new monitor..

     The cracks just remove the online SecuROM check. If you have a legitimate CD-KEY, you do not need a no-cd crack, as the disc doesn’t need to be in the drive; you just need a valid key code as has been stated.

     I can’t believe how many of you guys just download supposed “crackfixes” a.k.a. (virii and trojans) from untrustworthy sources without even thinking twice about it. smh

     Nope, it aint. You don’t need a no-dvd to play without the dvd, the game only requires the dvd to be inserted once, when you activate the game.

     So just install the game and activate it before storing the dvd forever.. (unless you have the guts to uninstall it, and reinstall later, and waste one out of three installs..)

     816: The DVD is only required for installation, you don’t even need it for activation.

     Also, the reloaded repack (after launching from massEffect.exe and not the launcher) doesn’t fix the galaxy map problem. They state you need to start a new game because any saves made from when the map isn’t working corrupts the saves, but replacing the cracked executable with the official one (I own a legit copy of the game) makes the galaxy map work fine on the same save, but running from the crack presents the map problem.

     not really. if the GM is a part of the security a legit exe + registration should fix that. but if you have a cracked exe maybe there is some info in the saves that mess it up. it allso says you need to save and load to get it working. i am in no way a programmer but i have seen strange work arounds for protections,.just think of the early starforce fixes. it could be a legit attempt to circumvent the protection. or it could be another virus/trojan or just plain fake. lets see what the brave people report back

     just one way to get rid of the galaxy map pb: get the good crack Mass.Effect.Fix-NoGrp i’ve seen above here (11 160 Ko)
     and modify file BIOInput.ini as said above too, to open the console during the game and load the destination u want, i tested it, it works, u can save when u want to also.

     lol I downloaded this and the russian fix, playing it for a few hours now and im somewhere at the end ( illos planet ). The galaxy map dosnt work but I can just use the console to jump to a new planet skiping the landing ( had to do it for 3 planets, noveria, tau and feros ) after that I dont need to use the cheat because I get coms from the council or alliance and it goes automaticly without skiping the cinematics Ah yeah even if you use the jump cheat you can still use your own crew and equipment :>

     Finished it with console jump, i wanted to try if it’s true that the crack would be 100% working without any savegame loading and it’s true.

     New install, new profile, rld crack, gode mod ( gun + armor ), never loaded a game ( die, close game ) and the galaxy map alway worked but the savegame was only working in auto mode after spectre part.

     So for those who had 5h, reinstall, make a new char and don’t die or quit the game or load, if you dont trust me just try it…

     one thing is sure, i won’t buy it. poor fps like low rpg skills, only the story is very cool.

     i liked to play a vanguard it make me feel star wars academy.

     gonna wait 2 years to get it for 15 euro for my box collection.

     Just found this on my local torrent trackers: Mass.Effect.PROPER.CRACKFIX-ViTALITY. However, people are complaining it’s not working either and it has been marked as “Nuked”. Here are the proper notes from ViTALITY:

     This is a working crack for the game. This fixes the galaxy
     map hanging issue, as well as the end-game crash.
     Both Detonation and Reloaded versions have been nuked.

     The local trackers I use only upload scene releases – so I really believe this is a legit release. I did not see this release on Nforce, but I guess it will appear soon. Whatever may be the case, ViTALITY also got nuked.

     Who’s gonna save us? Fairlight?

     I believe there is a FF add-on that checks private tracker sites for open registration opportunity’s…if it’s not a ff add-on it’s just an application that checks the sites and reports back any that are allowing open registrations. The way the sites work they have a max # of users…when so many get banned or old accounts get deleted or whatnot they open registration up for a short period. Either get the app or add-on…whichever it is..I cant remember, or keep checking the sites yourself. The one other way is to get an invite code from a current member if the site allows it.

     I would be really pissed if I had not already played through this game on the 360….and if I didn’t have GTA 4, Condemned 2, and Ninja Gaiden 2(after today) to keep me happy. Mass Effect has an awesome story…but it would have been much better with some multi-player modes…GTA4 multi-player modes kick mucho assso!

     I guess the playable part of the game was premeditated from bioware, like they were giving us a demo – look at the part of the game where gets unplayable –> you get this major role in the story, a spectrum, then you can go where you want, you can even see the galaxy map, then you get stuck lol we’re like childs whos candy was stollen

     Is it just me that finds it hilarious that RELOADED insists on the fact that DETONATiON stole their crack and then release a “PROPER” when none of them actually work PROPERly?

     The thing to do would be to keep working on the crack instead, then release a WORKING proper and point and laugh at DETONATiON for releasing a faulty crack instead.

     It’s like.. taking credit for something that FAILS.

     Do you know that i have the cracked game and played for 22 hours? (after playing for 5 and a half hours i got stuck with galaxy map black screen).I went to different planets, the galaxy map works, the saves partially…Let me explain what i did from the beginning.

     First of all i downloaded the reloaded release. I put the crack from the cd (reloaded not detonation) in the game folder and launch the game. When i first started the game i had a Geforce 8800GT video card (friend’s card) in the system. After playing for 2 hours i went to sleep and shutdown the computer (not knowing that once you exit the game the saves become corrupted). After i woke up i switched the 8800GT card with my card 7600GT to see if the game performs the same with my card + i had to give back my friend’s card. I launched the game and played 3-4 hours. The launcher said that my save files were corrupted and i got a little scared. Once in the game i played until i got the Galaxy map crack bug. I exited the game since i can’t progress anymore. I searched the forums and other places in hope that i can find some kind of fix. I saw that a person on nforce.nl could actually play the game after applying the crack patch fix. But there was a catch. There is always a catch. To successfully get the crack working you must start a new game. I stood there and think for about an hour if i should start the game again. Remember i played almost 6 hours. I made the decision to start the game again. I deleted my old save files and proceeded. After playing the whole thing again, i got to the galaxy map and guess what…it worked. But i didn’t exited the game, never died, never alt+tab and the computer was never switched off. I was happy. Played a lot till i got to a planet and died in the Meko vehicle. After i died it asked me to load the game. When you get to a planet it auto saves so i taught that i should load it. I sneaked near the place that earth worm (looks like something from Dune) killed me and finished the planet (search every bit of it). After i finished i went back to Normandy (don’t know if i spelled it correctly) and it auto saved. I then tried to go to another planet but the god damn galaxy map showed me the grand black screen.
     Here is my taught: Start a new game. With the new crack that fixed the saving. Don’t die, alt+tab, close the game. Go to the galaxy map, travel to a planet. Try to die and then reload the game. Check if the galaxy map is working. Or, Go to a planet, (the galaxy map works only if you don’t exit the game or die – so far). Save the game. Exit the game and then go back to the ship and test if the galaxy map is working. If it’s working that means that the crack works. All it has to do its not to corrupt the saved games.

     i think.. u use the serial and use original .exe.. should be okay. The thing here is the crack are prevent to use the galaxy map.. i think u dont have to uninstall the game ^_^… if u have original .exe (i always backup it.. never replace the .exe with cracked) and bought the serial, its perfect. Im going to buy this game tho.. but dunno when will be available in my area (SEA)
