     URGENT!
     On the ship now but when I open the galaxy map I just show a black screen of nothingness, basically stuck, can’t get any where without the galaxy map.
     any1 got ideas of why this is happening?

     creative sound card xtreme gamer

     I don’t think its my rigs problem, may be the problem with the crack or the game itself.
     would appreciate help, really like this game…

     THE CRACK IS BAD.

     It’s confirmed. It’s the crack that’s causing the problems with saving and the galaxymap. I checked some with some friends, they can use the galaxy map and save in Citadel, using the original game.

     When the crack is installed, you can’t safe in Citadel, or use the galaxy map.

     Time to wait for a crackfix I guess.

     with both Detonation and Reloaded u can play only till some point, after that -> crash

     Well, I checked with a friend, who said that everything worked on the d2d version, but stalling the crack broke the galaxy map. That’s all I know.

     Well, it also looks like a render error, not a missing file.

     no confirm, but from everything I have heard that is the case.

     I am downloading now reloadeds release, knowing the crack will not work, because it is not at all like Assasin’s creed where a PRE-RELEASE was cracked and released online.

     This is a retail copy, and people who bought it have said it worked after installing.

     Considering its using UT3 engine - I dont see why it should be bringing up that warning and UT3/Vegas 2 not unless theres something fishy.

     For those who have galaxy map black. After you try to enter the map mode, start hitting Zoom + Cannon (vehicle) buttons (can’t say exactly cuz I’ve remapped them for my game - in my case Space + LMB) repeatedly. It’s fast and ugly method but it works! Use this until new, more reliable crack is available.

     B#t***s… Buy the f***ing game if you can. PC Gaming needs a lot of support.. f***ing buy it a$$h0les. what if BioWare didn’t care to port this PC.. you wouldn’t get a chance to play . So pay some f***ing money.. atleast pay online to the gaming company.. use Direct2dive… then use this cracked scene release.
     Crysis is an example of what PC gamers can experience in future & coming months.. but nobody’s gonna develop games for us.. if we don’t buy them. THEY NEED SUPPORT GUYS. Support yourself, Support PC gaming.

     do you know how many times I’ve paid 60$ dollars for a goddamn game only to have it suck after 4 hours.

     demo’s give you limited levels and oten the game does not advance as it should.

     I buy the games that are quality and I enjoyed, even if I never play the retail copy. Many others do as well.

     pay for the games you like, not 60 bucks for every other peice of crap that comes out.

     60$ + 5hrs gameplay = F*CK Y*U!

     I know this works and u can see the main map, but after u travel to another system when u try and select a planet the map does it’s disappearing act again, I was wondering if anybody has found a work around for that part yet????

     I can confirm the Detonation crack is not working properly. The galaxy map doesnt work meaning you cant get past the first chapter. Downloading the one from reloaded… will update if i feel like it good luck

     Nope, the frantic-right-click method zooms you out one screen, so it’s not actually useable to land on a planet, seeing how you need to be totally zoomed in, which freezes the map up again.

     This game is revolutionary. Having never played the Xbox version and being totally new to the game I think it looks stunning. The facial animation is superb. This game is worth more than the retail value. The captain’s voice acting is a nice surprise. There are worse ways to blow $50. Go buy it and start having fun today!

     As you can see from those posts they are registered ME users on that forum. That means they have to register their unique ME cdkey to get that on their profile. So their copies are legal and original. That’s what’s worrying ppl. And there are other concerns about it on that forum too. Only that post went straight for the headshot in the topic title

     I got tired of waiting for the game to be legitimately cracked so I went out and bought the game at CircuitJerkit for $40. I thought since I have dld like 30 games over the last year that buying one that was more than likely going to take a while to properly crack, was not a bad deal. Anyway I have played well past the point where people are saying that the galaxy map is going blank or crashing. I also applied the crack to my legit copy, and low and behold, the game goes blank when accessing the galaxy map and then crashes. I have a Intel QX CPU and Nforce MOBO with an 9800GTX running the 175.16WHQL Nvidia drivers. Pretty standard system. Its the crack. If you want to play the game that badly just for once in your lives buy a game instead of being stubborn.

     i got a weird error just now. I started the game normaly, using the reloaded crack, and i got a message saying tha my game copy has been comprommised! And i need to reinstall the game! :S WTF?
     After i clicked ok, since it was the only option, the game started normally and played about an hour. After quitting and trying to restart the game to see if the error is there again, i can’t seem to get it again. tried launching the game 5 times after that, and no error. Anyone knows what is this about? Any chance it tried to validate the key online?

     Just buy the frackin game if you want to play it that bad. The only reasons not to buy this game is if you live in an area where it is not available, then I truly feel for you, or if you are 13 and don’t get an allowance. Otherwise if you are an able bodied person that has a job, GO BUY THIS GAME!!!! Its really good and I personally want the sequel to come to the PC and if it doesn’t sell well enough it won’t.

     tried to buy it from ea online store but cant download from here, d2d doesnt work either :< I REALLY want to give bioware my money because i love thier games but i am sooo impatient. whyyyyyy do i have to wait so long for this game to be released here ? i really dont understand this? If there is a working crack before the release here i think in 1 week i will not be paying for this. I really cant think of any excuse for it to take more then one week to get here (EU/SWE).      I used reloaded’s download, and then bought it from ea store online got the key number.
