How do I make this work? When I start ME2, it just tells me the DLC’s are deactivated. I followed the steps, turned off online features in-game, installed all the DLC’s and then overwrote the BioPersistentEntitlementCache.ini in my Documents. Using Razor 1911 release. Am I missing something here?

The DLCs work fine with the AGB rip (the 4.3 GB one) since it installs all the proper registry entries. I’ve heard there’s issues with the DLCs and the TeamJapan rip though.

if you want to son’t see main menu error about you must log in to cerberus network di as i said.
1.go too option and turn of 2 online options.
2.run the game from launcher not exe file.
3.after installing DLC run the crack next to launcher.exe.you must be connected too the internet when you run crack .and if it asked for overwrite click yes and enjoy
@7: if you had that error then you installed it wrong. The previous version works fine for me. This “proper scene” version seems to be the exact same thing with pretty much same instructions, ripped off from p2p group. Weak sauce.

if anyone has problems to play the DLC use the giveme2entitlements.exe for the other release
the only way to make this and the previous DLC release to work, is to disconnect from your internet connection, then start the game, and then you will be able to use the DLC.
i have tried to put this game to the blacklist in my firewall, but no matter what i do, this game has some kinda hidden background software, that able to detect that we have internet connection, and that software are telling ME2 that we are blocking ME2 from using the internet, i cannot find that program in my Firewall lists, but i have tried to DC first and then play, i can use all my DLC, but if i already connected, and then tried to play, the game will said that unable to authorize DLC, i have tried it many times.
only the crackers are able to make somekinda crack to prevent this game from ever detecting any kind of network connection, because if this game detect it, then it will try to authorize the DLC.
that’s why everytime i wanna play this game, i have to disconnect from my internet, enter the game and then connect to the internet again.
btw i’m using Kaspersky Internet Security 2010, and i already block all ME2 from ever trying to connect to the internet, and it doesn’t matter to start it from the launcher or from me2.exe, i tried it, doesn’t matter.
the only way is after you did the instruction, you need to disconnect then play the game, and after you load your game, the DLC will be there, and you can reconnect your internet connection.

The items from the ‘Dr. Pepper DLC’ are in this pack.
The BioPersistentEntitlementCache.ini file included in this release may not be working for alot of machines, In that case you will need the giveme2entitlements.exe ‘crack’ that the TPB guys are talking about in the comments section of one of the DLC torrents. (quite a long thread btw)
I ran that program and the main menu “not authorized” warning disappeared. I have the Razor1911 release.

i already tried that exe, i even tried the v2 of that exe, i still got the unauthorized message, if i’m still connected to my internet, even thought i already blocked my ME2 with my Firewall, that’s why i have to dc, enter the game, load the save, and then reconnect.
I am sorry to say but this ARM release doesn’t work either, or at least for me.
Anyone posts a complete solution for this?
Or I plan to buy a copy of ME2 for all good…
what the hell is the difference between the ARM and the IND releases? As far as I can see, they are completely identical?!
this works only for ORIGINAL MASS EFFECT 2 copies. doesnt work for fake versions.

even if you bought ME2, but to support the developer please buy it anyway, this DLC wont work either, because these DLC are Bonuses for Pre-order of the game only, do what i said, and it will work.
my instruction :
1. Follow all instruction on ARM or IND nfo.
2. completely disconnect from the internet (blocking the game with the firewall is useless).
3. run ME2 (doesn’t matter to launch it from ME2 launcher or directly from ME2 exe)
4. the game will freeze for a few seconds.
5. load the save game.
6. you will get new messages at your private terminal, that indicates that the DLC is working).
7. you can now reconnect to the internet.
8. repeat step 2 till step 5 for further use of the DLC.
yup i know it’s a annoying to repeat these step everytime we wanted to play this game.
Note : if you forgot to repeat the steps, and the DLC became unauthorized, there is a chance that your save game that you load will became corrupted, because the DLC added a new character for ME2, and that’s what causing the corruption.
And like i said before, the cracker team did not notice that this game has a hidden software that still run and able to detect internet connection, that what makes it useless to block this game with firewall.
@65 : this DLC also works on non original ME2 game, mine is Razor version, i can’t buy the original, cause in my country they only sell pirated games, except for PS3, they sell PS3 original game here, but the price tag for it is doubled than the original price tag for PS3 original games (more than 100$/games).
when i disconnect and start me2 it tells me to go to cerberus network to validate the dlc. does it still work? min is the razor version too
it will pretty much be a goty, i have been playing it for a couple days and its really really good, they finally got rid of the stupid ass rover bouncy pos. better story, better graphics, better voice acting, more humor cooler sidequests.. all great. i would rate it a 96 percent game.
one thing that kind of pisses me off is that their isnt enough ammo drops. run out of ammo quickly for big battles.

IND’s release worked just fine for me. make shure you followed all the steps.

try to use the IND version, and search for the v2 of the giveme2entitlements.exe, i use that version, ARM only gave the file that came out after executing that exe.
and if it still doesn’t work for you, try copying the giveme2entitlements.exe and the v2 of that exe to another folder which is :
“Mass Effect 2 >> Bio Game >> DLC”
and run the exe from there.
actually this DLC folder is the original folder that the original author of that exe wanted us to copy that exe to, cos IND stole that exe from that author, the author is Russian, his english confuses me at first use, but i finally understand it.

How do I know if the DLC worked? I did as instructed, didn’t get any errors. The ‘New Content Available’ tab showed up on the main menu after I installed the DLC’s, so does that mean it worked?

The DLC works, if when you load your save game, then you got multiple new messages on your private terminal, and the subject of that messages is the name of the DLC contents.

I wish this could be posted at the very top of this entire thread, but the fact is that none of these downloads work. I have noticed a common pattern with this idiots website links to post all of the so called free DLC’s.
The point is, that every single place he has made these downloads available to download, he has been banned, or the items have been deleted due to copyright infringement. These are, well for the most simple minded players, not legal.
If your going to head down this path, to get free DLC’s (Downloadable Content), that are not technically legal for free, than you might as well get hold of an infected hack, because these paths always lead to that direction, which you will eventually screw up your computer.
Maybe because some loser thought it might be funny to implant a horrid trojan/virus into his hack/crack etc, that you will end up being forced to completely wipe your computer of all memory and have to clean install windows all over again.
Trust me I know, I have been down this road. Now I look for crappy places like this post, and try and make people see that this is not the right way to get this stuff.
I personally would rather know that paying for the item/game/DLC etc and getting a free code that allows you to download the DLC’s from a legal website, the legal way.
Instead of wasting 5 days of searching all different websites, and downloading all these infected files, downloading file after file only to end up being told that you screwed up your computer, then either wasting more time to re-format your hard drive to get rid of a horrible trojan, or, having to take it to a computer repair store to get them to do it for you.
The basic version of what I am getting to is, simply look at all the times this loser has had to re-post his download links, he has over 12 personal websites he is using to post download links, only to have them deleted or banned from a website for breaking copyright laws, or many other laws. This guy has spent over 2 years posting this crap, and it is all stolen from the original author of the game, if you had of read further up in all this bullcrap, a player has posted that information.
Download this stuff and all your saying is go and steal hard worked on software, that is set to pay for a certain price for a reason, because it is the authors right to charge something for extra things added to their games.
So if you are going to go and download it for your personal greed of not paying money for virus free, decent hard worked on software, and scam people just so you can have a different looking gun or armor. You might as well go and rob a bank. That way you will get arrested faster.
If you wish to know why I advise you to, is because every website that hosts such hacked/cracked copyrighted software to download illegally is all being monitored by police, and just because it seems harmless to you, you are actually going to screw yourself up at the end, because all these people eventually, get what they have coming to them in the end, and I know they don’t like it.
So keep going, if you dare. it is just proving how stupid you are.
