Marvel Trading Card Game CLONEDVD-PROCYON
Its been a slow few days for the the game scene and the scene in general, but here’s a game that might be worth checking out. Brought to us by the “special” people at PROCYON it is entitled the Marvel Trading Card Game. Its alot different than previous marvel action/adventure games. As the title implies you have to collect trading cards of your favourite Marvel characters which include Spideman, The Hulk and the X-Men gang. You have to “battle” using your cards to acquire newer and more powerful cards allowing you to advance in the game. As you can tell by the screenshots below the game keeps a very comic book style to its graphics which i have to say i like but really all this video game is about is using an old card game formula and slapping on some pretty graphics and Marvel characters. Thought to give it a whirl as guessed it would be half a cd in size and always wondered what the draw to these card game things was, but as others say WHAT THE FUCK? 3 GB? Fucking Stalker is about that size!
Card Games are Usually Turn Based Strategy Games with an Additional Set of rules governing the overall structure . Magic the Gathering is a prime example of a good (and Very hard to learn) card game .
And i don’t understand why people who like card games automatically become nerds or gay ? card games are loved because of the depth in strategy and gameplay they provide (I don’t know about this game though).Before making a Judgement over the entire genre , why dont you give it a try (Given that y’all have half a brain to make complex and fast decisions).
magic the gathering is hard to learn? since when?
played it, pretty fun to pass the time if bored, rulez r very close to magic but in the marvel uni- took me 1hr to dl @ 800k. I think it was worth it..i wouldnt buy it though
@Elc - Just because you and me know the rules of magic the gathering doesnt mean its an easy game …
For Example, It Took me nearly half an hour to try and explain the game to my friends . And even after the lengthy tutorial, they gave up saying “Its Too FRICKIN Complicated”
