Mark Ronson-Version-(Promo)-2007-SAW

This is the first post by our new Music section editor – A.J. He will be bringing you a fresh choice of new music, starting with 1 post per day. Wish him good luck. :) Martin

This is an album that has many big artists featured on it (Lilly Allen, Kasabian, Amy Winehouse etc.) DJ Mark Ronson, a DJ that most people probably haven’t heard of but he has worked with big names such as Jay-Z. The album has different kinds of sounds to it so i’m sure most people would enjoy this album. Personally i think this album crazy (in a good way) and is different from all the other albums out there now, its also different from what other producers like Timbaland do.

Ronson makes a blazing return just after producing the hit Amy Winehouse album “Back To Black” with his own dazzling, culture-clashing solo LP with 12 classic tracks turned on their head and recreated into visionary floorfillers. Joined by the likes of Robbie Williams and Lily Allen, the eagerly anticipated set is a musical masterstroke and one of the brightest highlights of 2007. He states, “With my first album, I had all these people like Mos Def and M.O.P guesting. This time it’s not about that. Despite the big names, it’s about the songs…the songs here are the guest stars… I’ve taken these songs that I love and turned them into Motown/Stax 70’s versions. I keep the utmost respect and appreciation for the original versions of songs I use. ..it’s more like it’s a great song and I’m now going to make it bounce.” Guest appearances include Winehouse (of course), Lily Allen, the late Dirt McGirt (ODB), Robbie Williams, Santo Gold and Daniel Merriweather.Version is the second album by New York DJ, Mark Ronson. It is an album of cover versions. It was released on the April 14, 2007 on iTunes Store. It entered the UK Album Charts at number 2 on 22 April.

I once made a post here with a new edition of keygenmusic.nm.ru music pack, but Martin does not agree and did not publish it.

Mr. X: “I once made a post here with a new edition of keygenmusic.nm.ru music pack, but Martin does not agree and did not publish it.”

Crybaby… We are glad some of your posts get filtered by levelheaded editor in chief.

Is it me or that sounds like some guy trying to prove he is right to his boss by posting in the open? How lame and childish…
