Marie Antoinette DVDRip XviD-BeStDiVx

Lately pretty active release group BestDivx published a new dvdrip of romantic drama “Marie Antoinette” few minutes ago. This movie with some biographical elements and Kirsten Dunts in the main role achieved quite a positive feedback under critics’ view and IMDB rating of about 6.6/10 is also great. DVD screener of Marie Antoinette appeared at the end of November, and you can finally enjoy the full quality right now…

It’s very nice to get dvdrip of a movie that comes out on dvd r1 only on feb. 13. But 1 cd version for 123 min period piece movie? What the hell were they thinking? I’ll wait for the proper 2cd release with AC3 sound.

  3. January 25th, 2007 | 20:04

Hey mate Jimbo, check the trailer out, you might be pleasantly surprised. Thanks for the up Marty.

Jimbo, if you just watch it on your (decent non crap bum builed) tv you won’t really notice the difference. Exept if you have a big 40 inch flat screen tv or something. Otherwise, don’t waste the bandwith!

    What a craptacular release!

123 min movie crammed into 1CD is a big joke.

On my 19-inch monitor, I see macroblocks all over and the image is soft and blurred.

128 bit MP3 audio for a movie made by a director who’s known to heavily use music to emote her stories – and this film is no exception.

BestDivx look like a bunch of amateurs to me.

everyone is always fast to put a group down for some stupid reason this is a good rip there is nothing wrong with it your lucky they take there time and there source to rip it if you are out for the best you should get off the fukin net and go buy it your prolly one of them pricks that rips your audio in lossless why waste the space when the dif is not big for everyone else this movie is fine if you wanna watch a movie in the next ten mins or so the 700mb size is nice

i have to agree with harlan
the major problem with this release is the fact this the camera seems to be out of focus all the time… i mean the image is blurred by the heavy compression… all the details are missing

I think movies should be at least one gig as far too many get macro blocks and they just look better with the higher size. I have seen good quality 700 meg movies but it all depends on the length of the movie

Watching it on a TV (rather than your computer) will help. Buy a DVD player w/DivX support if you don’t have one.

sorry but this is shit, dvdscr was 2 disc & that was blocky so why should a dvdrip be less, movie over 2 hours = 2 disc, really is that simple.

    January 26th, 2007 | 09:07

While I understand the desire for higher quality, the desire should be for better compression with even LESS gigs used. Those complaining that the movie isn’t large enough, aren’t making the correct argument.

Ever seen an aXXo DVDRip release… He can compress a 150 minute movie with sound quality 10 and video quality 10 on 700MB… If you say this release is bad, I’ll just wit for aXXo’s…

P.S. I thought I read someone saying enjoyed Lost in Translation… It’s borring like hell… It’s just people psychology… if it didn’t end with a mysterious whisper, nobody would ever think it was a good movie, it could have been announced the most borring movie ever…

  26. Allidiots
    January 26th, 2007 | 22:22

2 hours + on 700 MB isn’t good, no matter who the ripper is. This is a visual lush movie, and quality will suffer. A 2CD version is acceptable, this version is not.

And yes, it’s free. But crap is still crap, even if they give it to you. Morons…

    January 26th, 2007 | 23:45

I think 700mb is way too small, as well. When I see Kiki I wanna see her with crystal clarity! I’ll wait for a higher-quality release and one that isn’t posted as a disc-space wasting .rar. When are they ever gonna learn to leave .rar on the Usenet, where it’s of some benefit, and only put the extracted files on Bittorrent?

    January 27th, 2007 | 10:44

get rid of RAR lol you must really not know anything about The scene maybe you should learn more before you post as for one thing i will say and that is that The scene hates for the releases to make it to torrents rars are the way its been well accept aces and most likley the way it will stay and as for retards downloading this shit from torrents lets just say have fun but anyone that dont bring food to the table should starve thats how i feal well maybe you can have some left overs lol

this is prob going to be me like stupid- but when ever i try to download i get the forst 10 minutes on a separate file then all the others are on non-discript files that wont play- wont even open- i think it might be something very simple…any takers?

    January 27th, 2007 | 16:26

    @ Carly:

Does this always happen when you download .rar files? Maybe you’re not extracting those files properly to one file?
If you have .r00, .r01, .r02 and so on, then use the .rar file to extract the whole movie…hope this wil help you :)

  34. carly
    January 28th, 2007 | 06:10

how do you extract the whole file?

  35. mab69us
    January 28th, 2007 | 09:31

go download winrar then install it after that you can just right click the part001.rar or the re.rar and sel extract here then you should be ready to roll after you extcat the files you can del the rars of corse after your ratio is 2:1 all you need to keep is the avi file and the sub files if you need them
