Maria Mena – Cause And Effect (2008)
This is another music post by RLSLOG reader Willem.
Here it is, the fifth album from the 22 year old Popartist Maria Mena. It’s ripped by PRS, who are not that popular. (I never saw a release from them before so) There are not many tracks on this album, only 10. Anyway, enjoy this album.
Maria Viktoria Mena (born February 19, 1986) is a Norwegian pop-rock singer-songwriter. When Maria was 13 years old she moved to live with her musician father. She sang and wrote lyrics as a form of therapy for her feelings and frustrations. Not all the stories in her diary became songs, but “My Lullaby” was one of them, expressing her pain from her parents’ divorce. After pleading with her father to make a demo, he contacted some industry experts to record Maria’s songs in the studio. Then he presented his daughter’s demo to the music industry. Sony Music signed Maria Mena to their label.

If that was the case I think RLS would have been screwed a thousand times over by now. Along with X million other scene blogs and DD forums and trackers. Not to mention myself. have you read the legal sectionm on pirate bay LOL
Is there a proper yet or at least a lossless version, because it sounds terrible.
So either the studio messed up or the source was crap.

the files are too loud, I recommend mp3gain (google it!) to fix this. don’t know what’s wrong with all those mp3s out there but 99db is way too much and that is what you hear as distortions.

I dont need replay gain to fix this because I always correct that myself with the volume control.
The distortion is present at any SPL. Besides Music is supposed to be distortion free regardless regardless of gain. Distortion would be determined by THD of preamp and speaker.
But problem is solved, I just analysed it and the music is clipping like hell… POS producers and POS studios, loudness war in full glory…
This way its not even worth downloading it for free…
