Anyone know if using newsgroups(usenet) servers are dangerous, because they are alot faster and easier than rapidshare (non premium) accounts. In my experience, newsgroups are also less hassle than dealing with torrents, because newsgroups are dependable. Newsgroups usually dont have fake files being uploaded with fake names etc. Newsgroups are also usually pretty fast. using around 90%-95% of your bandwith. Some ISP’s offer free newsgroup access and I was just wondering if I should try to find other means of downloading movies. Are ISP newsgroups dangerous? Are usenets that you pay for a better option?
I dont see newsgroups (usenets) talked or linked much at all
on this site.
