Manowar-Gods of War-Ltd.Ed (2007)
One more extra popular music release for this evening. It has been few days already since group AMRC released a limited edition of Manowar’s latest album Gods of War. This is a good example of very heavy heavy metal. There is one bonus track, which wasn’t included on the regular CD, but the majority of content is same. Something for all the though boys out there!
MANOWAR is a band that has set standards, broken records and won great accolades during its storied career. Known to their worldwide supporters as the “Kings of Metal”, the band has constantly redefined heavy metal by combining peerless musicianship and song writing with their undeniable commitment to true metal and their devoted fans. The band has always made the solemn pledge to create original music that is louder than hell and stronger than steel. One of the cheesiest bands in metal. They try to act and look so true and genuine, that everything they do comes out looking like a joke. POSERS UNITE! ;/
They are like the grandfather’s to metal… they are always talked about together with KISS, or Guns and Roses… they are a great band, and unless you can do better then them luan, I would shut up… That’s all I wanted to say!

I downloaded the new album a couple of days ago. It has 2 good songs and the rest is orchestral pieces and narrations about norwegian mythology. It’s ok to include this kind of stuff, but not to make a full album out of it.
I guess the time they wrote songs like The Gods Made Heavy Metal has passed.
