Mandy Moore - Wild Hope (2007)

Pop album “Wild Hope” by Many Moore was released from group ERB about a week ago. I’ve never actually heard any of her songs until a minute ago when i played her first single from the album “Extraordinary” and its just like any other pop folk music to me. I’m just not a fan of this kind of music but theres probably plently of people who would love this so check it out!

Wild Hope is the fifth studio album by American pop singer Mandy Moore in four years. It will be released via her new label, The Firm Music, a division of EMI. According to a press release, the album is scheduled for a June 19, 2007 release (see 2007 in music). Counting her compilation and cover albums, it is Moore’s seventh album and the first to be fully co-written.

Amanda Leigh “Mandy” Moore (born April 10, 1984) is an American pop singer and actress. She grew up in Florida and came to fame as a teenager in the early 2000s, after the release of her teen-oriented pop albums So Real, I Wanna Be with You, Mandy Moore, and Coverage. Moore has branched out into a film career, starring in 2002’s A Walk to Remember and later appearing in the lead roles of other movies also aimed at teenage audiences. Two of her later films, American Dreamz and Saved!, were satires in which Moore portrayed darker characters than in her previous roles. Moore’s private life, including her relationships with tennis player Andy Roddick and actors Wilmer Valderrama and Zach Braff, has been much discussed in the media.

Never heard her before, but this doesn’t sound too bad:

    BILLBOARD:
“Wild Hope” is the gratifying sound of a singer finally finding her comfort zone. Gone is the sugary pop of moore’s early career, replaced instead by thoughtful musings on love and life… an album full of subtle, but undeniable hooks.”

    JANE Magazine:
“What a great surprise… Mandy Moore has turned into a sophisticated songwriter whose new sound fits cozily alongside that of Regina Spektor, Fiona Apple and Sarah McLachlan rather than all the pop tarts she used to be compared to… this is music destined for that mood-setting montage during the last 10 minutes of Grey’s Anatomy (and yes, that’s a great thing).”

@3/Victor: Why don’t you just grow up? Yes, you CAN be an ass on the Net, but you don’t HAVE to be…
