He shows you how to survive in those types on locations. Whether or not he has assistence and more gear doesn't really matter to me. It's the knowledge of how to survive and what's edible that's interesting.

Survivorman is WAY worse. You should NOT drink standing water from small puddles surrounded by rat droppings. Also, all he does is stay in one place and whine about being hungry. Has he ever been rescued? No! So if it was reality, he would have died EVERY SINGLE TIME!
