A major movie release just cam out from group HLS. “Mamma Mia” is a 2008 stage-to-film adaptation of the 1999 West End musical of the same name, based on the songs of successful pop group ABBA, with additional music also composed by ABBA member Benny Andersson. The film did very well at the box office and had the largest opening weekend of any musical film in U.S. history, until it was dethroned by “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” in October 2008.

PLOT: Set on a colorful Greek island, the plot serves as a background for a wealth of great ABBA songs which are used in remarkably appropriate ways.     a few things – this movie was released on the same day as TDK, so maybe that will come out soon now too!!!!

    also you guys should post the Swing vote HDTV rls…it was a major film that was in theaters and stars kevin costner, so get to it…its an election day surprise!

    uk release for the retail is 17th november so its not that far away-donkey punch should be anyday now too cos thats retail on 10th november-a coupla posts mention cass but I dont see it and its retail in january so seems a bit early for that one!

    This will definitely rank as one of the ten worst movies of all time. Normally with a musical you get a good singer who can act a bit as the lead. This stinker has someone who can act a bit but definitely can’t sing (Pierce Brosnan) in the lead. GOT THE FORMULA WRONG!!!
