PVR has released this behind the scenes making of, of the new movie Wanted. This is a great movie, however after seeing what the comic was all about, I do wish they would have followed that storyline more, but I guess it would have been a VERY dark and twisted movie then.

Wanted was a comic book series and a clever one that looked into what the world would of been like if the bad guys ganged up and took on the heroes – wiping their very existence out by rewriting history – basically making the once proud into fat, old, disabled ex tv and film stars who the world remembers as such and not the REAL heroes they in fact were.
Then they ruled the world and got away with murder – the characters were blatant in their depiction of heroes and villains within legal rights.
Jolies part was drawn as Catwoman and played by Halle Berry.
Wesley was my least fav Eminem but worked for the book.
and this went on…
This of course is a big problem when trying to put on screen and hint that this was superman, this was Batman and Robin etc without actually saying that cos if the copyright issues.
Alan Moore got away with it over and over in LXG and so does MM here – But for a live action film it would be to in your face to do so – cos few people read even comics compare dto movies.
So the film has been changed into something else with MM participation.
It wont be the comic so it pisses a lot of the books fans off.
Get over it….a comic is a comic a film is a film – 300 Sin City aside and prob The Watchmen some things have to be changed for legal issues.
You cant always get what you want but it looks like we have been given as much as possible as daft as it seems.
Ive spoilt it enough ..go by the book now….warning its a book for fans of the comic book medium – again in a live action film a lot would be lost on those who just dont get it…
..nuff said.

The comic book was terrible. Mark Millar is a laughable writer and this was probably his worst work yet. The film is awful also, but ironically, is better than the comic book. That has to be a first…
Have no idea how anyone can like this movie… I left the theater half way because of the “intense” violence.
