Scene group SKIDROW have released a interesting looking RTS game called “Majesty 2: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim” which is a sequel to the original game Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim that was released almost 10 years ago now.

Majesty 2: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim blends the excitement of kingdom building simulation with the depth of a role-playing game. The game includes one single-player campaign, 10 multiplayer missions, 16 maps, and multiplayer modes for two or four players.

As you’ll no doubt remember, Majesty 2: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim is the official sequel to Cyberlore’s original game that was around back at the turn of the millennium. Whilst a sequel was planned by the original developers, it was eventually canned, and nothing more was done to the series. Ten years later and the long lost sequel has finally been realised, thanks to new developer’s 1C and their distributer, Paradox. Like when any publisher acquires an IP that started life elsewhere, Paradox have tried to make a game that stays true to the old-school Majesty spirit, whilst also possessing a bit of Paradox flavour.

  • Unique class behaviors that allow heroes to react and interact differently
  • Grouping that allows players’ heroes to be stronger in a party than when fighting alone
  • Multiple flags that allow players to offer rewards to their free-willed heroes for attacking, defending, exploring, and ignoring areas on the map
  • Upgradable weapons, armor and characters give players feedback on their heroes as they progress and level-up
  • The ability to build portals that speed up the gameplay and allow heroes to move around the map quicker

    Been waitin' on this one for some time, ever since reading about in PC Gamer some time ago. Thankfully it's already on one of the private trackers I use, a full day before retail. That should mean plenty of testing to decide whether to drop the 40 bones on it over steam. It certainly looks awesome, so I look forward to getting into this..

    Anyone have a working crack for this? The one included Sophos flagged as malware, and Kaspersky flagged as a keylogger.

    downloaded from mario's @37, it's good, crack working perfectly, check your system 1st…
    you need cheat for this game?, try edit the save file, mission.sav file in majesty2's save folder, search in wordpad "player", you can edit the value like money or anything, save and load it…
    you can also edit your hero level too, even taxes…

    I downloaded from links given by post #8 (Socratis). I unpacked using winrar 3.90, mounted with daemon tools lite and installed. Replaced the majesty2.exe with the cracked *.exe from the the folder "skidrow".

    The game loaded and its running fine. no serial required.
