AGAiN has released this useful encoding tool. There are available Win, OSX & Linux versions.

Description: MainConcept Reference combines all popular MainConcept codecs and renowned formats as H.264, MPEG, VC-1, DVCPRO HD, JPEG2000, etc. For years, storing digital video footage has been a big challenge because of the large amount of disk space required. Various compression methods have been created to reduce the space requirements, but often at the expense of quality. But what is the most useful format in video, production and broadcast business? H.264/AVC? JPEG2000 or DVCPRO? The new VC-1, the poular DivX or the approved MPEG standard? MainConcept Reference is the answer to this. It combines all popular codecs and renowned formats. And the user decides which formats or codecs he really needs!

    All plugs is in demo mode and When i open the folder patch, I have a "mcpcore" how i use this, i am on mac 10.4.11.

    I used the patch and registered the serial but all the videos I encode in AVC Pro get a Mainconcept logo. What a bad patch!!

    Also the cropping feature of this app doesn't work as it should. Nero 9 (uses Ateme H264 codec) its giving me better overall results.

    I’d advise everyone to read the info on MainConcept Reference. Its a free demo with all of the codec plug-ins, but in demo mode, which means a watermark on any rendering. Pro plug-ins are available for around $500 each. The MainConcept Reference base application is required to install and use your purchased codec Plug-Ins. This download is the base application (demo codecs).

    Hey guys. I know how to patch and have done it many times in the PC world. This mcpcore unix binary has me baffled. I have tried just about everything and still can’t get it to work. Can someone help a guy out and simply point me to the right web site that may help me or simply tell me what’s up right here. I would really appreciate it. And yes, I did google it :) .
