Thank you, very, very much for that info. I was searching for cracks, and I found on cracks.am
That worked, however the entire program was in German.

This was extremely helpfull. I didn't download from here, but was having the same problem: still needed serial number. Then, I tried the method that seems to help a lot of people here. Worked first try!

If some people are still confused, check/follow these steps:
> Copy-paste crack into installation folder.
> Run app.
*If you haven't tried entering a serial yet (probably the
first time you run the program):
You will be asked to enter a serial number. Just click
the button to register online, you don't even need to
enter anything. It will just cause the registration to
fail, which is what we want. After error message, exit
the program.
*If you have tried entering a (any) serial number OR have
completed the step above:
Re-run the app. By default, you should now be asked to
enter a personal activation key (the second option in
the start-up registration menu). Just enter some
numbers. I just entered random numbers until I had an
activation key with 5 groups of numbers, I think. Maybe
it were 6 groups, but I don't know if it's really
important.
> You should get a pop-up window thanking you for the
activation of the product and advising you to hold on to
the serial and activation key in case of a future re-
install.
> Enjoy using MAGIX Video Pro X v8.6.0.17

crack is working
When u install select USA Than install the program
after install Go to: C:\Program Files\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X_1_5_Download_version and delete this file :Videodeluxe:

then replace file and open the program it will ask for code don't enter any code just press the activation botton

Just to make it clear to the noobs (like me) out there.
'Cause yeah, "replace the exe file"… Took me 20 mins to figure out what that meant. Some people just give up… Thanks Carlos anyway.

Once you downloaded, extracted, installed, yadda yadda, close the program and:

Go to: C:\Program Files\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X_1_5_Download_version (or wherever you chose to installed it) and look for the file named "Videodeluxe".

Delete that file and replace it with the "Videodeluxe" file that's on the downloaded folder.

Open the program, follow Carlos's steps and, tahdah!

crack doesnt work, messing around with activations doesnt work. does anyone know what to do. owhere to find a serial or a working crack. its a pitty

Doesnt matter what email or numbers you use. I dont know if it matters but I disconnected from the internet first. Enter any email and any numbers and register offline. Then when it reopens enter any numbers again and all should be good.

What email address did you use and how many numbers? On the second try did you use internet or telephone registration? Thanks.
