How about learning how to use MagicISO first before flaming here…

And why this version of magiciso isn’t available from their web page as it usually is… I’m kinda sure, this version doesn’t even exist if it’s not downloadable from authors webpage… (I’m registered user of MagicISO and been updating this from their web very long time…)

$4 Million In Fines For Linking To Infringing Files
Posted by Soulskill on Sunday May 25, @10:13AM

I Don’t Believe in Imaginary Property writes “The MPAA won judgments totaling $4M against two sites which merely link to infringing content. They’re not arguing that it’s an infringement of their distribution right, like the RIAA has with their ‘making available’ argument. Instead, they got the sites for ‘contributory copyright infringement’, just like RIAA v. LimeWire. To translate all that legalese into English, search engines which primarily index copyright-infringing material and the people who run them may not be safe in the US. That applies even if the sites in question do not host any infringing materials, participate in, or encourage the infringement done by their users. And, even honoring DMCA notices in order to take advantage of the DMCA Safe Harbor provisions hasn’t prevented the **AA from suing.”

    May 26th, 2008 | 09:59

MagicIso.com has at least one good product: the freeware
    MagicDisk (I use version 2.5, build 74)

MagicDisk is very much like the also free Daemon Tools (but beware, don’t install the Toolbar that comes with the newer DT versions), but while Daemon Tools is restricted to only four virtual CD-/DVD-drives, MagicDisk supports as many virtual CD-/DVD-drives as free drive letters are available.

It supports a vast number of image file formats. In contrast to Alcohol, it automatically mounts images after reboot (That feature shouldn’t be worth mentioning, but over the course of a shut down/boot cycle, the Alcohol 120% versions that I used tend to forget which images were mounted).

I don’t know how MagicDisk works with images of games. I seems to have the same mechanisms like Daemon Tools. But due to my lack of gaming experience, I can’t tell you about that.

    YES!

MagicDisk is an awesoem app which works with magic iso

    May 26th, 2008 | 10:54

I’m no longer use Alchohol instead I use this app +MagicDisc! You can edit/burn/compress/mount images(add/remove folders) and also support uif,daa image formats! Alcohol and daemon tools doesn’t support them!
    BTW: It works in Vista64!

    May 26th, 2008 | 12:38

btw: MagicDisk is a separate download. It is not related to MagicIso, except that both are from the same company.

I just looked for the current version of Magicdisk, it is MagicDisk v2.6(build 93), released on 2008-02-21.

They offer two downloads, one is supposedly for Windows 32bit, another one for 64bit. Though, as a matter of fact, both setup files are the same (at first glance they have the same filesize. I then calculated checksums for both, and they match).

“How you apply the crack? I’m getting only the exit button!”

I agree… what the hell? How do I actually crack it, the crack only has an exit button.

    Says something like
“The MagicISO v5.5 will be cracked if u push or push to buy it!!”

But has no crack button. How did you guys get it to crack?

    @philips14c
Yeah, I guess that might be useful. I never really needed support for all those formats (.iso/.bin/.img is all i ever really need to edit) so imgburn has been fine for me. Good to know in case I need to use one of those files.
