ProCiSiON bring us a pretty awesome looking WII game. Even though i dont have a wii ive been following this game pretty closely because a friend of mine has been waiting for it to be released for ages now. MadWorld has received a lot of controversy due to the HUGE amount of violence in the game but has also received very very good reviews at most gaming sites. The story line kind of reminds me of the movie “The Running Man” with Arnold Schwarzenegger ;) Enjoy!

In MadWorld, Varrigan City has become a target for a group of terrorists known as “The Organizers”. The Organizers have taken over the city and transformed it into the setting for a game show called Death Watch, where the city’s citizens are being forced to fight for their lives against mysterious enemies, for a prize of 100 million dollars.

Madworld is an inventive third-person action game exclusively for Wii. Produced by Atsushi Inaba, MadWorld has a unique black and white style depicting an incredibly sharp backdrop that straddles graphic novels and 3D worlds. As players battle opponents, they must master the use of various weapons and items found within their environment, such as chainsaws and street signs, while entertaining sports commentary adds to the third-person gameplay. With its irreverent humor and over-the-top violence, MadWorld will deliver a unique core gaming experience currently missing on the Wii system.

    The rapidshare links are deleted because rapidshare is a communist website. Stop uploading to websites that support communism like rapidshare.     This has a firmware update on it, unless someone removed the firmware update. Meaning if it still has firmware update intact, it will only work with modded wiis not the twilight hack.

    I'm sorry that you feel that way. I personally just prefer better games made for more mature gamers.
    Not saying the Wii doesn't have them, but the ones it has are few and far between. And don't call all Nintendo fanboy on me please. I don't want to hear it.

    I mean, look at a prime example, Dead Rising. Ported to the wii you lost gameplay, scale, and the graphics.

    Yes, the wii is innovative. Is it the best console out there? No, not for me.
    Am I a graphics whore? No. Not at all. I just don't understand the concept of a console that took two steps forward and three steps back.
    Maybe if most wii games weren't essentially using a controller where you point instead of use a thumbstick, and did something actually innovative I could get on board. But until they start streamlining that style of gameplay, the wii just strikes me as a far inferior console.

    Games alright, but reviews are giving too high of a rating. 9/10's I see it keep getting yet the game is ridiculous repetitive and gets boring fast unless your a sadistic person who enjoys seeing the same deaths over and over again.

    The black and white palate looks like it could be distracting and hard to follow the action. I'll have to wait and see. I suppose it could hide the lack of hardware power with the console. I'm not knocking the Wii, the thing sells. My kids have one but I've never played it. I don't even play the other consoles either except for games I can't get on PC (aka sports games).

    Kervestile, the reason why the Wii gets bricked because of a burnt game is because some games come with updates.

    There is a utility you can run on all .iso files that removes the updates. Look for Wii Brick Blocker.

    people seriously go with a modchip!! Future proof solution that will spare you from spending hundreds of hours on forum reading on how to circumvent latest nintendo protection :x

    Latest ones don't even need soldering! Just a cable to plug right now (look for wasabi dx or drivekey)

    Otherwise i've owned a wii for 2 years, sold it in february (btw thanks ninty for keeping same price since release, i almost sold it at buying price :D ), so too bad i'll miss what could be the only good game for 2009 lol. I think another zelda might come in 2010 too…

    And the idea that controls bring something new are really untrue. Motion recognition is a joke, as long as you move the hand it will work… The motion plus add-on hopefully will allow developpers to make the wiimote an advantage for future games, unlike dumbing down everything like what happened so far.

    Actually the few great wii games could be played with no problem using regular controller (mario galaxy, metroid prime 3, yes that's 2.)
    Then you got RE4 and twilight princess but they're GC games…

    So buy a wii if you're into all the wiisport, wiifit stuff, otherwise wait until the console finally is at 99€, put a modchip in it and play the dozen good games on it. =)

    Oh and i own a xbox 360 now, NOT THE SAME WORLD

    And if you got kids, buy them a PS3 with Little Big Planet, now that's a revolutionnary & creative game.

    hey, guys i have been having problems wuth rapidshare r88 file aswell but i finally have the file. here is the link to the file, just rename and remove .txt, then your all done. if your not sure about the file just run a scan on it to be sure but i promise its 100% legit.

    ok……..so i used wii brick blocker on my iso that i got from rawdump. and now it reads the disc but when i click "start"……..black screen. am i doin something wrong? or can someone help me with this deal?????

    All i am trying to find out is if i can update through this game with a wiikey 2 chip installed and NOT worry about bricking my system…OR if i have to try and download the scrubbed version,and if i do where is a link for the whole iso image instead of all these rapidcrap links,wii brick blocker is not working……see above

    To older topic about sin:

    Sin is universal and not just biblical. however, everyone sins, the person said if you play this you will be a sinner, when there own bible disagrees stating they are already sinners lol.

    Content like games etc can harm people if you dont prepare for reality. its a personal choice if you feel you shouldnt play this, dont. but this is the devils world and not everything you need to analyze. not saying you should play this, but calling people sinners online wont help you help them. besides, the bible says everyone goes to hell [common grave] not a place of pain. and no one goes to heaven but instead they gain the kingdom of heaven, which is here on earth for you to live forever. if your a bible thumper, stay away then. if your not, then choose as you wish.
