MadTV S13E08 PDTV XviD-2HD
Since MadTV is an American produced show they parody events usually recent and relevant to americans. The opening act contains a parody of Rhianna’s music video ‘Umbrella’ except with Barack Obama as the black rapper and Hillary as Rhianna. The underlying theme is a sexual relationship between the two presidential candidates. Since this is the first episode I have watched for the 13 season, I noticed MadTV have renewed themselves with a more mature title theme, which reminds me of one like on The Tonight Show. Also a new stage is used which faces a close circled audience.
This episode includes a parody of Rhianna’s video “Umbrella” and the 3rd installment of Bobby Lee and Johnny Sanchez’s tour of America’s Heartland. Guest host is Kathy Griffin.
