Here we have the official tie in game for the 2008 NFL season. Props to ViTALiTY for this one! Also included is a very nice keygen to make a personal warez key. As with other 08 sports titles from EA Sports there isnt much updated over the previous iteration’s in the series but if you get it free who are we to complain. :) . At least you know your playing with an up to date team roster, hehe. Have fun!

    Somebody please, please help me! I’ve been trying to get through this for an hour now. I am bigtime newb, trying to make my way through all this so I can play some Madden!! Anyways, I did everything right, installed the game, but when I press “Play” in the opening screen, it says:

    Wrong disc inserted.

    Please insert the original “Madden NFL 08″ CD/DVD.

    I downloaded daemon like you guys said, I have ‘vty-0100′ mounted in the program, I don’t know what to do now. Anyone have any clue????

    Yeah i got the same problem, i mounted with daemon tools, i start the install, but straight after it asks to insert disc 1?

    I hope you can get it working, i cannot beleive it doesnt work,
    I’ve extracted it using winrar, mounted using daemon.
    I even get the box popping up telling me to close all open programs.
    I continue then it asks to insert disc 1 into the cd drive!!

    Ok, i explored the cd, and clicked on mainapp, but it still asks to insert the original cd.

    5 in game i passed trough rushing training on all levels
    6 gonna play passing training

    OK.. READ POSTS 55 ALONG WITH OTHERS.. I WAS LITERALLY SECONDS FROM SCRAPPING EVERYTHING AND GOT IT TO WORK..

    EXTRACT vty-0100.001 WITH winrar (OR WHATEVER YOU USE TO EXTRACT FILES.. I THINK.. I USED WINRAR THOUGH)

    ie. RIGHT CLICK THE FILE, OPEN FILE WITH.., CHOOSE WINRAR
    YOU SHOULD GET AN VTY-100.ISO FILE OUT OF IT..

    THEN EXTRACT THAT FILE (VTY-100.ISO) OF ALL ITS GOODS.. THE SAME WAY YOU JUST DID THE PREVIOUS FILE..

    AFTER ALL THAT EXTRACTING..

    MOUNT THE VTY-100.ISO..

    CLICK INSTALL.. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS..

    AFTER A WHILE IT WILL ASK FOR YOUR REGISTRATION CODE..

    FIND THE KEYGEN INSIDE OF THE “VITALITY” FOLDER.. THIS IS FOUND WHERE YOU JUST EXTRACTED THE VTY-100.ISO..

    GENERATE A CODE.. COPY IT IN WHERE IT ASKED YOU FOR IT DURING THE INSTALLATION PROCESS..

    THIS IS ALSO WHERE THE “mainapp” ICON IS.. IN THE “VITALITY” FOLDER..

    FINISH THE INSTALLATION..

    IT SHOULD WORK FROM HERE..

    I THINK.. :(

    yeah thx for all yah help guys, but it was my version of daemon tools.
    i just installeed the new one off the website and i was able to install it.
    im actually 82% instaled now.

    hey, i am able to install and start the game, but when I try to play an actual game from the menu, it loads and then says that there was an error with the game and it needs to close. what could the problem be? help please

    hey guys, ive been playing this for like 2 houres, and literally, im shattered. there has not been one single gang tackle! that is the whole reason i got this game, and im starting to think that gang tackling is only a feature for xbox and ps3. please somebody prove me wrong!

    what a crock of shit. they have a year to produce something… well, this is the same shit for 3 years now. oooh woooh they changed the distance on the camera when the coin toss is about to start… i think…? i’m really glad i don’t pay for this game on the pc. it’s a joke. i don’t see why they don’t just say hey, here’s updated rosters for madden20XX and go fuck yourself. what a fucking joke. if someone can point ANYTHING out that is different or new or better…be my guest. and no, new motion SHIT graphics for the game openings do not count.

    IF YOU HAVE THE INSERT CD PROBLEM READ THIS

    I had this problem as well. I was using poweriso and when mounted it would say “insert cd to install” or whatever. So I just downloaded latest version of daemon tools and did the same thing and it works. GOOGOG

    For #122:
    -mount the image with Daemon Tools;
    -close the game instaler;
    -go to the drive where the image was mounted;
    -right click on it and hit Explore;
    -look for autorun.exe and right click on it and then click on Properties;
    -in the Properties tab you must click on Compatibility and make it run in compatibility mode with Windows 2000 (click the “run this program in compatibility mode for:” and then select Windows 2000);
    -Apply everything and then double click on autorun.exe, that problem will not be there any more.

    I have the exact same problem as #115, as soon as i enter actual gameplay, the game just closes.

    i know my pc meets the min. requirements, i updated all my drivers and put the in-game settings to the bare minimum but i’m getting the same thing everytime.

    anybody else having this problem/have any solutions to fix it?

    I too have the DirectX 9.0c issue on vista ultimate. I’ve tried compatibility mode, no dice. Any other advice to resolve this?

    hey dudes,
    i found out how to extract ea trax soundtrack from game :)
    first i try to do something with eam files in music folder and that dont work

    after i think of other aproach: to track what game do with files and i was surprissed, in short game take them decodes them to mp3 and plays them

    but it is quite long process to unpack , but you get 192 kbps and tagged mp3 files (so no need to download them)

    1. here we come (im using win vista) so game unapack files to TEMP folder you find it C:\Users\YOUR_ACCOUNT\AppData\Local\Temp (in xp i think its C:\Windows\Temp)
    2. set sort by on folder to date moddified and leave window open
    3. start madden
    4. go to menu>profile>soundtracks
    5. click on first soundtrack w8 one second to start playing
    6. use alt+tab to go back on desktop
    7. in temp folder is file MAD****.tmp (**** id some 4 letters which are everytime different)
    8. copy this file to some new folder and rename to 01.mp3 (it wil be playable and IDtagged)
    9. go back to game
    10. click on next file in row and repeat steps 6-10 (naming files 02,03,…,50).
    after doing this with all 50 track you will have clean rip

    and remember madden deletes tmp file after choosing another track

    Need some help. I have done everything correctly i have some experience in this i have probaly done 10 or so games. what is happening is that after it says ea sports its in the game. the loading screen of vince young pops up. it loads to about the 4th or 5th symbol and stops. it doesnt do anything else. if anybody could give me some help or suggestions it would be much apperciated.

    hey, i am having the crashing issue where whenever I play any type of game, the game crashes and says windows needs to close.

    I’ve done everything right to install(i think):
    1. unpacked with winRAR
    2. Mounted the image with daemon tools
    3. used the keygen in vitality folder found in the drive i installed for madden 08 (mine is E drive)
    4. installation’s complete
    5. used mainapp in vitality folder found in the drive i installed for madden (mine is E drive)
    6. Ran game

    if there is anything that i need to change to fix please message here. Because this problem is not mine, but also thousands of others.

    This is really frustrating. I’ve been scouring every source I know of for the last two days trying to figure out what’s gone wrong. Once I mount the image and go to install, it gives me the dialog box “Close all other programs…”. Then it prompts me for the key, no problem there. After the key is successfully entered, the EULA pops up *blank* with only the character “B” in the left corner. EULA is accepted, and I get the dreaded Direct X 9.0c error. Now, I’ve tried many different combinations of actions. Every fix I have read about until now I have tried unsuccessfully. The Win2k compatibility fix doesn’t resolve the problem. I tried Alcohol, Daemon, PowerIso. I downloaded the most recent version of DX9c. I’ve installed I’ve tried copying the entire disk to HDD. I’ve tried editing autorun.cfg from “DirectXVersion=9.0c” to “DirectXVersion=0″. I’ve tried installing in Safe Mode, in the general Administrator account. I’ve downloaded every release of this game I could find, as well as last year’s release. Now, I am a noob, but does this have anything to do with Direct X? BTW, I’m running AMD TL-64 2.2 GHz, Vista Ultimate, GeForce Go 7600. From what I’ve seen around, this seems to be a common problem. Thanks everyone for trying to help.

    here is the stepbystepBYSTEP for you guys who are having problems to get madden 08 to work.

    unpack the first file starting with VTY using winRAR
    you will end up with a single iso file.
    next, mount it using daemon tools.
    installation starts.
    use the keygen found in the drive used to install madden (usually E drive). right click explore and go to vitality folder. there should be vitality
    copy it to the installation code.
    installation continues…..and finally ends.

    IMPORTANT*****************
    use the crack found in the SAME folder as the keygen as i mentioned.it should be “mainapp”.
    copy mainapp. now go to program files under C:/ drive > ea sports, and finally > madden nfl 08.
    paste the mainapp there, click ok to overwrite the file.

    Now, in the SAME FRICKEN FOLDER there should be an application called “Madden08″. copy and paste it to the desktop.
    Everything should be complete and finished. you can play the game now. if i missed a step, please correct me.

    purplehaze, you might not have enough memory or space for the game. try closing all of your programs when you play the game. if it is still too much, try clearing some disk space by removing some programs or stuff u dont use (so it doesnt waste space). it might not work , but its worth a try..

    I downloaded it from a different site…. files already in the form vty-0100-001 without having to extract using win rar. I tried to create an image using those files and mount in daemon tools but it didnt work. Been trying to follow the instructions above but cant find a file to unpack. Is that because my download isn’t in archive form or am I just completely ignorant?

    #149: go to winrar (if u dont have it download it n choose the free option). extract the file that is like vty-1.00 or something like that(the first big file).
    after the contents are open, installation should appear.

    #150: follow my procedures. 80% of the time , the game will run. look at the system requirments on post 147.

    Bunch of black windows final one says program to big to fit into memory….. Tried all compatibility modes etc.. closed all programs.. have 2gig memory on vista..

    Okay, so here’s what happened:

    I used winrar to create my iso file and I mounted it using Daemon. The install screen popped up and I said to install. I put in the key and at this point it does either one of two things: the screen just dissappears or it goes to the requested install directory screen.

    It’s really weird when the screen dissappears because it goes back to my desktop and in task manager I see Autorun.exe running under my processes.

    If it keeps going I choose my directory, I get my hopes up because it begins to install. At one point or another, it totally freezes though (like the farthest I got into the installation was 38%). Also, a lot of times when I press install and it dissappears I attempt to acces the virtual drive again to try to install it again and it just freezes up my windows explorer and my computer gets pwned.

    for anyone whos game freezes at the vince young loading screen. That means that you have a firewall thats not allowing madden to connect to the internet. so close firewalls that require u to click allow on programs that might connect to the internet

    I’m having the same problem as 116 and 168. For the first few minutes I play the game, it runs at normal speed. After 10 mins or so, the game play speeds up and starts playing way too fast (the game clock counts 1 second in about 1/3 of a second). Closing Madden and restarting doesn’t fix the problem – have to reboot the machine. Why? Who knows. Running AMD 2×64 as well with ATI 1600 series.

    ok i managed to install the game…
    But now when i go to Create a Player, or play a game, or anything to do with playing.. the game just quits, with no error message or anything…

    first of all i got it mounted on the E drive and so it comes up with vince young and i press play and it doesnt do nothing, i go to task manager and it says autorun.exe is running so please help me and tell me what im doing wrong, im using daemon tools and 7-ZIP

    I mounted the iso on daemon, clicked install, but then it asks me for insert the correct dvd/cd

    I have same problem as #182, Pei.

    Am running Windows Vista and tried Daemon Tools 4.09 and 4.10.. mounts ok, can see the CD/DVD with all files, autorun comes up fine but when I try and install it keeps asking me to insert ‘CD/DVD 1′…

    any ideas would be great!

    2. Download WinRar or Extractnow (www.extractnow.com 9. Program Files -> EA sports -> Madden 08 -> and COPY “main app” from Vitality overtop the current one in this EA sports folder.
    14. Double click this main app from within the folder, the game will run.
    15. SUCCESS !

    You cannot use a desktop shortcut or start menu shortcut to run the game. It will crash. You must play the game by either going to Start -> programs -> EA Sports -> Madden NFL 08-> and than clicking the play game
    OR go to the to C: -> Program Files -> EA sports -> Madden 08 and double click the “main app” file.
    This guarantees will work, I don’t know what your problem is if this doesn’t work.

    Here is the solution. Finally I found it.

    Pick the ISO (the final) and burn it to a DVD.
    Then from the DVD pick all the files and move them to a folder.
    Next, copy MAINAPP.exe from the crack and replace it.
    For the game to run double click on mainapp.exe

    By the way, i didn´t install Madden and mainapp.exe i got from gamecopyworld.com

    i ntried to install it for 5 hours now…

    when i unpacked it, it did’nt come out as an iso file but as (i guess) the dvd divided into folders. i created an iso from that but now i always get the insert cd/dvd 1 error when i try to install it… i’m using daemon and i really don’t know what to do now… please help me !!!!

    Same issue with mine. I have Daemon 4.10 and mounted the ISO and tried to install but it just says “Please insert CD/DVD 1 in Drive E”

    I’ve also tried mounting it using Alchohol 52% and get the seame error..Any thoughts?

    i burned the iso with nero.

    i opened the rar file and then pick up the iso and burned to a dvd.

    to all of you : don´t try to install madden, just replace mainapp with the crack and double click the new mainapp and the game runs

    pei, i’m not sure what you mean by that. is it really possible to play without installing it? and how do i go about replacing the mainapp file on the emulated drive? you can’t write/replace to an emulated drive as far as i know.

    Ive read a part about installing another part of this file. I did but not sure where to download the extracted folder…so far that didnt work.

    Hey. The installation was going fine until it reached 84%. It said, the problem has been occured while trasfering about. cs. html file when transporting it to EASO/about folder. I dont know what the hell is wrong. Pls help me! Thanks
