As with other 08 sports titles from EA Sports there isnt much updated over the previous iteration’s in the series but if you get it free who are we to complain.

I didnt post the clonecd for a reason. cloncd’s are less popular since there not cracked and because EA uses securom i new the chances of it being cracked quaickly were high so i waited.

Why couldnt you play this on the PC? Its exactly like the console, sept the 460/ps3′ are better graphics.
I play with a ps2 pad/x360 pad on the pc with this game with no problem.

I had a chance to play 07 version and it seemed way to simple to enjoy it on a longer period of time. You probably need to have certain love for this sport, which is what most Europeans lack.

Afted i joined it i was left with vty-0100, what do i used to mount it? i’ve tried daemon tools and busting it open but it’s saying its not a valid image. Any ideas?

CLONECD = Requires emaulation tools to run a.k.a. Deamon Tools
ViTALiTY = Cracked files so it does not require emulation or the cd in the drive.
As a general rule always go for the cracked version.

The PC version of Madden lately has just been the previous year’s console ported over a year later. So this is probably the 07 console (with a roster pack, OC). But as for the consoles having better graphics, well maybe on your PC…I don’t know why this would be harder to play on a PC. Actually I find the console version annoying as hell because you have to adjust rosters and sliders using one thumb instead of a keypad/mouse. As for playing I have a 360 controller and plenty of HP to push the graphics. The only reason I prefer console sports games is they never bother to put them on PC anymore.

1. unzip all the files with WINRAR
2. use “DAEMON Tools” to mount the file you just unzipped
3. Install the game (remember were you install it)
4. Get the Crack and copy/past the .EXE file were you installed the game
5. Play the game.

What exactly is your problem? Unpack it (download Winrar) -> Mount it (Daemon tools) -> Install the game and that should do it.

You mount the file you just unzipped. usually its a .ISO file.

Guys, after you have the iso,open the iso with winrar and extract the Vitality folder. This where the keygen,crack and nfo are located.(for the vitality version)
I believe the missing crack issue for most “Newbies” can easily be explained to them as follows. The Crack and KeyGen are found inside the image file,or at least it is with the Vitality version anyways,I’m not sure about the CloneCD version.(I never use CloneCD versions.)
Simply mount your image then prior to installing the game,simply open windows explorer navigate to your mounted image,right click on the drive and select “Explore”. Your Vitality crack folder is staring right at you.Simply copy the folder to your machine where you can access it normally then proceed with the install using tools provided within the folder.
Hope this helps.At one point or another…we were all newbies too.

Do not use HJ Split to join the files. The way it was packed I thought they needed to be joined. They don’t. Just use winrar to decompress them. That will leave with a valid and working .iso file. Just use Daemon tools to mount. The crack and serial generator are in the vitality folder in the .iso.
FYI and heads up on an installation issue. I had this with MADDEN 07 as well. If during the install you get a message that directx 9c is not installed and you know it is and installe won’t continue. FIX exit install, right click on autorun.exe on the image/dvd and hoose compatibility and choose windows 2000 compatibility and now run autorun.exe and it will install
You dont even need NFO viewer to view nfo files, I use wordpad and it works perfectly fine.

1, as you said you see there are many seaders
2, you are conencted to small number of seaders. why? simple answer every torrent client have some setting for outbound connections for example 20-30 so as you see from s/l ratio an 1 seeder is cca 10 leecher (but on the other hand leecher can conenct to many seeders or other leechers)
3, archives named .001, .002, … are common also in past years many ea sport games had these extenssions so what to with them?
are two ways open them open winrar and navigate to vty-0100.001 and double click tehre will be image file which you unpack second way is identical click with right mouse button on vty-0100.001 open with … and choose winrar and then you see image

Simply right click on the first file archive ( vty-0100.001 ) ,then click “Open With…” click on “Select program from list”, then navigate and select Winrar program .Winrar will open and voila,there’s your ISO image.Now extract the ISO and you’re all set to go.

ie. RIGHT CLICK THE FILE, OPEN FILE WITH.., CHOOSE WINRAR
YOU SHOULD GET AN VTY-100.ISO FILE OUT OF IT..
THEN EXTRACT THAT FILE (VTY-100.ISO) OF ALL ITS GOODS.. THE SAME WAY YOU JUST DID THE PREVIOUS FILE..
AFTER ALL THAT EXTRACTING..
MOUNT THE VTY-100.ISO..
CLICK INSTALL.. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS..
AFTER A WHILE IT WILL ASK FOR YOUR REGISTRATION CODE..
FIND THE KEYGEN INSIDE OF THE “VITALITY” FOLDER.. THIS IS FOUND WHERE YOU JUST EXTRACTED THE VTY-100.ISO..
GENERATE A CODE.. COPY IT IN WHERE IT ASKED YOU FOR IT DURING THE INSTALLATION PROCESS..
THIS IS ALSO WHERE THE “mainapp” ICON IS.. IN THE “VITALITY” FOLDER..

I had this problem as well. I was using poweriso and when mounted it would say “insert cd to install” or whatever. So I just downloaded latest version of daemon tools and did the same thing and it works. GOOGOG

-mount the image with Daemon Tools;
-close the game instaler;
-go to the drive where the image was mounted;
-right click on it and hit Explore;
-look for autorun.exe and right click on it and then click on Properties;
-in the Properties tab you must click on Compatibility and make it run in compatibility mode with Windows 2000 (click the “run this program in compatibility mode for:” and then select Windows 2000);
-Apply everything and then double click on autorun.exe, that problem will not be there any more.
I have the exact same problem as #115, as soon as i enter actual gameplay, the game just closes.
i know my pc meets the min. requirements, i updated all my drivers and put the in-game settings to the bare minimum but i’m getting the same thing everytime.

i found out how to extract ea trax soundtrack from game
first i try to do something with eam files in music folder and that dont work
after i think of other aproach: to track what game do with files and i was surprissed, in short game take them decodes them to mp3 and plays them
but it is quite long process to unpack , but you get 192 kbps and tagged mp3 files (so no need to download them)
1. here we come (im using win vista) so game unapack files to TEMP folder you find it C:\Users\YOUR_ACCOUNT\AppData\Local\Temp (in xp i think its C:\Windows\Temp)
2. set sort by on folder to date moddified and leave window open
3. start madden
4. go to menu>profile>soundtracks
5. click on first soundtrack w8 one second to start playing
6. use alt+tab to go back on desktop
7. in temp folder is file MAD****.tmp (**** id some 4 letters which are everytime different)
8. copy this file to some new folder and rename to 01.mp3 (it wil be playable and IDtagged)
9. go back to game
10. click on next file in row and repeat steps 6-10 (naming files 02,03,…,50).
after doing this with all 50 track you will have clean rip
and remember madden deletes tmp file after choosing another track

hey, i am having the crashing issue where whenever I play any type of game, the game crashes and says windows needs to close.
I’ve done everything right to install(i think):
1. unpacked with winRAR
2. Mounted the image with daemon tools
3. used the keygen in vitality folder found in the drive i installed for madden 08 (mine is E drive)
4. installation’s complete
5. used mainapp in vitality folder found in the drive i installed for madden (mine is E drive)
6. Ran game
if there is anything that i need to change to fix please message here. Because this problem is not mine, but also thousands of others.

This is really frustrating. I’ve been scouring every source I know of for the last two days trying to figure out what’s gone wrong. Once I mount the image and go to install, it gives me the dialog box “Close all other programs…”. Then it prompts me for the key, no problem there. After the key is successfully entered, the EULA pops up *blank* with only the character “B” in the left corner. EULA is accepted, and I get the dreaded Direct X 9.0c error. Now, I’ve tried many different combinations of actions. Every fix I have read about until now I have tried unsuccessfully. The Win2k compatibility fix doesn’t resolve the problem. I tried Alcohol, Daemon, PowerIso. I downloaded the most recent version of DX9c. I’ve installed I’ve tried copying the entire disk to HDD. I’ve tried editing autorun.cfg from “DirectXVersion=9.0c” to “DirectXVersion=0″. I’ve tried installing in Safe Mode, in the general Administrator account. I’ve downloaded every release of this game I could find, as well as last year’s release. Now, I am a noob, but does this have anything to do with Direct X? BTW, I’m running AMD TL-64 2.2 GHz, Vista Ultimate, GeForce Go 7600. From what I’ve seen around, this seems to be a common problem. Thanks everyone for trying to help.
here is the stepbystepBYSTEP for you guys who are having problems to get madden 08 to work.
unpack the first file starting with VTY using winRAR
you will end up with a single iso file.
next, mount it using daemon tools.
installation starts.
use the keygen found in the drive used to install madden (usually E drive). right click explore and go to vitality folder. there should be vitality
copy it to the installation code.
installation continues…..and finally ends.
IMPORTANT*****************
use the crack found in the SAME folder as the keygen as i mentioned.it should be “mainapp”.
copy mainapp. now go to program files under C:/ drive > ea sports, and finally > madden nfl 08.
paste the mainapp there, click ok to overwrite the file.
Now, in the SAME FRICKEN FOLDER there should be an application called “Madden08″. copy and paste it to the desktop.
Everything should be complete and finished. you can play the game now. if i missed a step, please correct me.

purplehaze, you might not have enough memory or space for the game. try closing all of your programs when you play the game. if it is still too much, try clearing some disk space by removing some programs or stuff u dont use (so it doesnt waste space). it might not work , but its worth a try..

I downloaded it from a different site…. files already in the form vty-0100-001 without having to extract using win rar. I tried to create an image using those files and mount in daemon tools but it didnt work. Been trying to follow the instructions above but cant find a file to unpack. after the contents are open, installation should appear.
#150: follow my procedures. 80% of the time , the game will run. look at the system requirments on post 147.

the game is running at 10x the normal speed!… i have an amd 64 x2 system with an ati 1800xt vid card. what could be causing this game to run too fast?….
Okay, so here’s what happened:
I used winrar to create my iso file and I mounted it using Daemon. The install screen popped up and I said to install. I put in the key and at this point it does either one of two things: the screen just dissappears or it goes to the requested install directory screen.
It’s really weird when the screen dissappears because it goes back to my desktop and in task manager I see Autorun.exe running under my processes.
If it keeps going I choose my directory, I get my hopes up because it begins to install. At one point or another, it totally freezes though (like the farthest I got into the installation was 38%). Also, a lot of times when I press install and it dissappears I attempt to acces the virtual drive again to try to install it again and it just freezes up my windows explorer and my computer gets pwned.
I really don’t know wtf is going on. Maybe it’s Daemon’s virutal drive (btw I have the newest Daemon, version 4.10)?

for anyone whos game freezes at the vince young loading screen. That means that you have a firewall thats not allowing madden to connect to the internet. so close firewalls that require u to click allow on programs that might connect to the internet
I’m having the same problem as 116 and 168. For the first few minutes I play the game, it runs at normal speed. After 10 mins or so, the game play speeds up and starts playing way too fast (the game clock counts 1 second in about 1/3 of a second). Closing Madden and restarting doesn’t fix the problem – have to reboot the machine. Why? Who knows. Running AMD 2×64 as well with ATI 1600 series.
Will I have to burn this?

Here is the solution. Finally I found it.
Pick the ISO (the final) and burn it to a DVD.
Then from the DVD pick all the files and move them to a folder.

i ntried to install it for 5 hours now…

pei, i’m not sure what you mean by that. is it really possible to play without installing it? and how do i go about replacing the mainapp file on the emulated drive? you can’t write/replace to an emulated drive as far as i know.

Answer for #203: There is a help document somwhere in the folder ( i forgot where) but it says you can try raising the cache memory limit…or something like that, I dont know much about computers. But look for the HELP document in the folder its there somewhere, thats how i got to working with that similar problem.

I’m pretty surprised it works without installing the game but hey…as long as it works.
NOTE: You don’t have to burn the ISO image onto a DVD you can simply Mount the ISO on Daemon then explore the drive and copy and paste all the files/folders to a new folder that you’ve created on your harddrive. Then simply copy and paste the mainapp.exe (crack) over the original mainapp.exe and douple click and play.

For me, the problem was “Insert CD / DVD 1″. AFter reading this forum, I mixed it up and figured it out.
- Copy the contents of the ISO anywhere you want on the computer.
- Place the cracked mainapp.exe file over top of the existing one (back it up).
- Copy the d3dx9_30.dll file to System if you don’t already have it
- Run mainapp.exe!!
Works fine. DO NOT RUN AUTORUN.EXE
There is NO running of the installer that I did to get this to work. It would not install. I tried the Compatibility trick with Win 2k and it didn’t even finish.. it just froze. This should work for you if your problem is “insert cd /dvd 1″
When I say copy d3dx9_30.dll, I mean find it @ gamecopyworld.com or somewhere else, then deploy it into c:\Windows\System (or on whatever drive Windows\System is).
k i can run the game if i take the mainapp.exe file from the ViTALiTY folder and replace it with the one in the madden folder. But when i close the game, nothing saves. So i want to install it. but i cant seem to find the ISO anywhere.. i have tryed using the windows search.. please someone help.

the solution for the game must close error is: Go into Madden 08 music folder and delete all the music files, they end in .eam. Then restart the game ,this worked for me on Win XP Pro.

Alright. It seems like there have been a lot of errors and problems. I read all the posts, but I still don’t get it. Have anyone found a solution to game crashing when entering the game play mode?
I had problems installing the game at first (EAinstall.dll couldn’t be found even though it was right there…) Then I just downloaded different iso file using different torrent and I installed the game successfully (even though it told me to turn all applications off at the beginning- I just clicked OK and it let me install the game). Then I cracked it.
I actually have some problems turning the game on. I can’t do it using madden08 file, but when I use the mainapp file, it doesn’t do anything. Then I close the application in the task manager and it turns the game on. Everything but playing football then works. Any ides? Thanks.
