Very good program, easy to use, even with large files. The only problem would be with BC dates, but it’s not really what most people use it for :) so it’s really, really good.

Description:
MacFamilyTree is a modern and highly popular genealogy application. With MacFamilyTree users can create family trees and display them in multiple ways. MacFamily helps you to generate vivid views and diagrams: Ancestor and Fan Charts, Virtual Tree and Virtual Globe complement Statistics and Timeline for analysis.
Using MacFamilyTree’s Web-Export, family trees can be uploaded to MacFamilyTree.com where friends and relatives can easily access your research.

A huge Internet-based library of geographic places provides MacFamilyTree with over 1.5 million names and coordinates for locations worldwide.

MacFamilyTree offers import and export of GEDCOM files from other genalogy applications. The supported encodings are standard ASCII and Unicode (UTF-8 and (UTF-16).

With MobileFamilyTree an iPhone/iPod touch client is also available from the Apple AppStore.

    Fo rthose wanting a PC genealogy programme, may I recommend "Family.Show" by Vertigo for Microsoft. It's free and looks great. You'll need Vista or 7 to install it though. http://www.vertigo.com/familyshow.aspx
