Apparently the dyes used in DVDs/CDs have different odours to them…wouldn’t know about it myself….I can’t smell a difference…

Kinda amusing though that there’s a bounty on those dogs. But I suppose it would be expected if ppl have lost $5 mil already….I know I’d be mad. I wonder if the dogs do get killed (could you say they’re “murdered”? jk) then what? MPAA is the kind of organization that will just train some more….

tucker: Yep, we can get it for free, but e.g. in malaysia there are people profiting a lot money from piracy. Last time I was there pirate copies were sold even in normal shopping mall.

yay for the dogs. people shouldn’t make millions out of piracy. i’m from Malaysia too. the problem here is the enforcers are quite helpless as they’re ‘allowed’ to only go after the small fish. they never touch the big guys. like this article says, they just raid shophouses etc, ie. they’re the bottom of the chain. sometimes the middle man got it too when storehouses were raided too. but where do these copyrighted cds came from? who made them huh? you never get that answer.

Hi there, i’m living in malaysia and here, there’s a bounty on the dogs head. beside that, theu’re actually diong a tremendous job sniffing out piracy. Piracy should be free, i agree with that.
