   Anyone use this? Is it better/worse than Acronis. The one time I used Acronis to clone a root partition to a network share it took forever- probably twenty times as long as Nero Backitup or HD Clone.

    Its true, over the lan acronis is slow, its b’cause it dosnt have constant transfer rate, it transfers in burst. so its lots of waiting and overhead

    This said, acronis is still a good tool, dont know this one. Will give it a try this month.

    True Image Echo Server 8115 just came out yesterday, anyone got a link?

    I find Acronis buggy as can be. Still think Symantec Backup Exec System Recovery (aka Livestate) is better, but it too is quirky. far more reliable than Acronis though.

    Paragon Hdd manager,norton ghost14,acronis true image,Casper 5,Eaz -fix,rollback -rx.These are proven solutions and work good on most systems.An anti virus won’t save you from a bad microsoft update,an rare undetected virus,power failure ,but any of this program will.That beeing said this looks like useful also but someone with free time and skill has to test it’s back ups

    all the people working all day here to bring you free stuff work all day just so that “YOU” get free stuff….

    now tell me something… do u expect them to work for free???
    its very easy to point your finger at anybody…. but very hard to work all day so that everybody can get stuff free!!

    i actually say they should all earn… coz idiots like you can only sit there and find faults rather than saying thanks for there hours of hard work!!

    @19 you fail to mention that all the scene groups make ZERO money from all their hard work wich is in most cases more work than ne 1 person at rlslog….hence y mvs say they dont like ppl like rlslog making muny from their work wich they do for free-if rlslog dnt like doin it 4 free dont do it at all!!!

    @29 DL Hiren’s boot disc & ERD (emergency recovery disc)
    go into HDD tools (Hiren’s) and look @ HDD Regenerator, run it.
    go into ERD and run a chkdsk /r, fixboot & fixmbr and you should maybe be set.

    that should give you a good days worth of options

    I’ll try it cause Acronis is not very “trusted” software. 5 times in different workstation it give me (acronis) the message “corrupted image” when i try to restore. So carefull about that.
