LSoft Active Boot Disk Suite v4.1.4-DVT

This application (well, few of them) could be life (or data) saver once in a while when things goes wrong on your PC, e.g. HDD crash or something similar. So what this program does, it creates bootable media with few applications to help you recover, undelete, backup, format, investigate – your HDDs & data. Check description below for more info.

Description: Active@ Boot Disk (Win Edition) is a bootable CD/DVD/USB disk that allows you to boot up your computer and fix most startup and PC configuration problems.

Active@ Boot Disk based on lightweight Windows VISTA (WinPE 2.1) operating environment and contains disk image, data recovery, partition management, password resetting, data erasure, network access tools and system utilities.

Installation package contains all necessary tools to create bootable USB/CD/DVD media.

    Yes, I'm a technician and I've been using this program for about a year and a half now. The disk does take forever to load but it has a very effective password remover for XP and Vista built in. The partitioning tools are subpar, but kill disk is always nice and it has some neat features like a web browser.

    For a "all-in-one" disk it would be a good addition to your collection. It's also bootable to a flash drive.
